Corbin dumps his snacks out on the floor and puts the bowl on his head :)

He is a thirsty boy :)

I think he looks sooo big eating his snack...
My heart could juts burst because I love his cute face SO. STINKING. MUCH!
At 12 months Corbin weighed 22lbs 10oz (50%) and was 31 3/4 in. long (95%). He had only gained 1 lb from his 9 mo. appt... he's really slimming down (just has chubby cheeks and hands and feet still). It's not for lack of eating b/c he still loves to do that! I'm quite sure it's because the boy NEVER STOPS GOING! He is constantly on the move! Sometimes I just want to cry when trying to change his diaper or get him dressed because I literally feel like I'm wrestling a pig! Whew, who needs a work out when you have that?!
Corbin still isn't walking, but I can see his little wheels turning thinking about it. He walks behind toys and all around furniture (one handed). He will stand by himself, but then plops down to crawl (at a neck breaking speed!).
He is saying momma, dad (sounds like daaad), bubba, hi, bye (waves with both hi and bye), no (how he says it is so cute), bite, brrmmm brrrmmm (anytime he sees something with wheels).
He loves music and will stop what he's doing to listen intently.
His favorite books are the "feel and learn" books. He now tries to eat whatever he's feeling on the book. It's hilarious!
He can get on his ride on toys by himself now (but getting off is a little trickier-- he just sort of rolls off!).
Corbin eats three meals a day and has 2 snacks.
He also thinks he has to eat or snack whenever anyone else is too-- he BEGS until you give him a bite.
He likes pretty much everything.
We think he might be allergic to cinnamon... his face broke out in a rash with cinnamon applesauce today.
We're down to two bottles a day...
the boy likes his bottle and I'm just not ready to rip it away.
I know he's not going to Kindergarten with it (not even pre school!) so after
discussing it with his dr. at his 1 yr check up we're slowly taking away one bottle at a time.
He went from 4 a day to 2 a day fairly easy so hopefully the other two won't be hard to get rid of either.
He is wearing a size 4 diaper (and has been since around 4 mo?).
He wears 12-18 and 18 month clothes.
18 month sleepers and pj's.
We still only have one pair of shoes (Robeez) that fit properly and they are the 6-12 month ones (I think that's equivalant to size 3 in a normal shoe).
Corbin loves to have his head rubbed and will brush his own hair (not always with the right side of the brush though, lol). He can show you where his hair is.
And yesterday he started helping us "pick up".
He helped put all B's hot wheels away in the drawer and his blocks in the basket!
He gives real kisses now.
He pats us on the back while hugging us.
He can also "blow" if you blow on him he'll blow back, it's so cute!
We are so grateful for this 1st year of Corbin's life.
Although, it's bittersweet b/c it's gone so fast I truely love watching him grow and learn new things and his personality develop (wow, does the boy have a temper- he knows what he wants, that's FOR SURE!).
I can't wait to see what this 2nd year brings!
