Some September

 Cuddling one morning before school
C hanging out while B was doing bball camp
 Distinxion camp

Character talk from Steve and Lori Zeller-- why is it kids pay more attention to this stuff when it's not coming from their parents?!

I got my hair chopped off :)

We also celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary (by buying new furniture for the house!).  I had a yard sale and we had other stuff thrown in there too!

August

Here are some random pictures from August :)
Corbin thought he needed a "pack pack" to take to the sitter's :)
Why does he look so old?!
My brother came to play with the boys the night before he left to move to college at IU.
They love their Uncle Joe :)
Corbin would yell "GO JOE, GO JOE" if he stopped :)

We went to a family night at church for our Wed. night youth group.  The boys had a blast!

C wasn't happy (yet) that we had woken him up!
B is good about helping C (C is not always so good at receiving the help!).

 Dare devil!
I love his face- he is always so happy!
Wearing momma's sunglasses :)

One weekend I went with these sweet ladies to Women of Faith in Indy!
I was so blessed that weekend.

First Day of 2nd Grade!

I can't believe my baby is in 2nd grade!  (The first nine week grading period actually just ended Friday).

 Backpack picture :)
Brycen, Payten, Joey, and Braden before school
 B at his desk.
Brycen and cousin Ashlyn (they have the same teacher this year).

Brycen has the same teacher I had in second grade (twenty years ago!).  The same class room and desks and everything. It was kind of surreal walking in there.  She is an amazing teacher and I'm so thankful he got her (Mrs. Klipsch).

He is still loving school this year and doing great.  I'm so thankful school comes easily for him so far.  Spelling and reading are his favorites (just like his momma!).  He says math is his enemy (again just like his momma), but he is still doing well- he just has to try harder in it!  He met his AR goal with three weeks left to go in the grading period (and could of before then, but he is a tad forgetful about bringing his AR book home each night).

Each night they have the following homework: Study spelling, read their story of the week in reading book, read their AR book, study Math facts (flash cards and practice timed testing), and 15 min. of free reading.  It does take up quite a bit of time, but we have our routine down and B doesn't complain.  My biggest complaint is the sweet little two year old wanting to "help" :)   I give him his own "homework" to do at the bar while I'm working with B, but somehow he always ends up spreading papers and flashcards EVERYWHERE! :)

Goats, Hogs, and Rides

The 4H fair was an especially big deal for B this year b/c he got to show his goat! He had been looking forward to this for months!  Ryan and I were so nervous for him b/c we didn't know how it would go, but B and his goat Zeller looked like pros in showmanship!
B and Zeller before the show
Showing with the other kids in his division.

He said he can't wait until he's in regular 4H instead of future so he can stay all night at the fairgrounds w/ his goat :) lol

B also got a hog wrestling team together again this year during fair week.
 Joey, B, and Nolan
Joey, B and Nolan showing off their duck taped shorts :)
Jessa Marie and Corbin (C wanted tape on his shirt too, lol)
 Brothers<3 p="p">
 Brycen, Devin, Joey, and Nolan
Hog Warriors 2012 (B and Nolan did it together last year with 2 different boys).
Rinsing off in the pool afterward (it doesn't get ya very clean)
Thankful for a friend (Nolan's dad Jeff) on the Volunteer FD to hose them off w/ the fire truck hose- they thought that was GREAT!!!
Representin' Nolan's dad Jeff (and family friend!)!
Corbin before his very first ride- he looks terrified, but I don't think he was
You can see after he really enjoyed it!
Thankful for a big brother who would ride "the baby rides" with his little brother
B is the red blue at the top of the picture- he rode this all by himself.  I told him he was crazy, but he LOVED it!  Things that go around make me VERY sick (I was nauseous just taking the picture!) so I couldn't go with him and Ryan was off taking C on some little rides... I was proud of B for being brave enough to do it by himself though!

Random July

I've been in a blogging funk like none other... I don't think I've ever been so far behind.  At first blogger wouldn't upload my pictures and then I just got so far behind it was overwhelming to think about catching up... but as the end of the year comes up I know I need to get caught up so I will be able to print out my 2012 blog book!

Anyway- all the way back to July I go... eek!  In July we played a lot of baseball (all-stars).
Brycen loves practicing at home too... the goats are involved in everything we do, lol!

 I had a birthday :)
My mom fixed supper and got me a new pair of Tom's :) lol
My boys (all three) got me some new bling (a new wedding band- b/c I've never had anything besides my engagement ring and a plain band.) :)  I was super surprised!

I'm pretty sure I took this while B was at Bible School- C put on B's shoes and sunglasses! I thought he looked so grown up!
I just love this face! I can't get enough of it!
My bestie made me a tshirt rug for my bday :) Love her.
And B went to tennis camp (he LOVES tennis and I'm so glad!).
He dominated at camp :) Awesomeness!

Lots More Updates to come :) Next up 4H Fair week!

Book Review- Over The Edge

I received this as book free from Bethany House to review, all opinions are my own.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I'm not usually big on historical books, but I thought this one was great! It sucked me in from the start and I couldn't put it down! The characters were people you could relate to even today and the storyline was great. I would recommend reading this book for an easy read, but great story!
