A

New flowers for our precious baby boy, A.
His birthday is coming up this week... Thursday to be exact.
It's hard not to wonder what it'd be like having a two year old thrown in the mix of our family.
But we still rejoice for him and anxiously await the day we get to join him.
It'll be glorious!

365- Days 26-29

Day 26:
Some pretty lil' ribbon I used for a sweet new baby's tutu...
her momma is going to get her pictures taken in it.
Day 27:
Half my obsession....
the other half is ice.
I really have a problem!
Day 28:
My momma gives me her magazines after she's done with them!
I love reading them, but I'm too cheap to buy 'em!
She has subscriptions to all the ones I like so it works out :) hehe!
Day 29:
Cutest baby in a basket :)
He kept crawling away and trying to get into something (can't remember what)
so Ryan stuck him in here!
He loved it!

365- Days 22-25

So I got a little behind on uploading pics...

Day 22:
B made me this... he says it's not finished b/c it needs "a stick thing". I believe he's referring to the perch?! He also wants to paint it. His sweet daddy helped him :)
I'm such a lucky gal to have all this guys lovin' me so much!
Day 23:
Cute supplies came in the mail for a certain little Mr's 1st bday party coming up...
We won't talk about the emotions that has me feeling!

Day 24:
Kindle... I love it... I love reading... I wasn't sure if I'd love it as much as a real book... but I do :)

Day 25:
All three of my boys got hair cuts this evening.
Corbin's first.
Love them all so much my heart could just burst!

365- Day 21

Day 21:
B took this of C.
Brycen had another snow day from school so I took off and stayed home with them.
My mom usually watches them on snow days since she is off work then too, but
it was sooo cold (like below 0) and Bessie the Van doesn't do well in snow and ice and my mom's road wasn't good so we had a snow day at home :)

I haven't worked a full 4 day week (except maybe for like 2) since like October?!
It's spoiling me very much!

365- Days 19 & 20

Day 19:
This picture is awful (i really should buy some new batteries), but anyway, it's the CLEAN top of Ryan's dresser. I know you can't tell from this picture and I should of taken a before picture... but this was a quick little project I did yesterday on my day off. Ryan lets his dresser become out of control and it drives me batty! Mine is always cleared off with NOTHING except maybe a piece of jewelry laying on it... He doesn't want me touching his stuff on there (could have something to with the fact I threw away some important numbers once while cleaning off his dresser)... but seriously things kept falling off and I couldn't take it any longer! I just left his papers for him to sort through (and made him do it last night!). I asked him "doesn't this make you feel so much better?" He was like, "uh I guess?" lol! He just doesn't see the mess I guess?! Drives me crazy! I feel so much more calm when I look at it now! (maybe I'm the one w/ a problem!). lol Now if only I could get him to go through his stuff nightly and not just dump everything on there....
Day 20:
These are NOT my cabinets, they are another set (of bathroom) cabinets that they made for someone else. BUT they are EXACTLY the same color as what my kitchen cabinets are going to be!! Ryan sent me this and I'm just so in love. I had seen a sample door and that's how I picked... I always thought I wanted light colored cabinets, but then it came time to make the decision and I kept going back and forth... THEN I saw the sample door for this set and FELL.IN.LOVE! I knew this was it! Soooo this is the color of my kitchen cabinets... now if I could only decide on the bathroom ones... I haven't picked master bathroom cabinet color or boys' bathroom cabinet color... ughh!!

I can't wait until the day I can take a picture of my own cabinets in my kitchen :)

365- Day 18

Day 18:
We had to run to Lowe's for plumbing stuff and since they are starting to finish our drywall tomorrow we're only about a week away from being ready to start...wait for it... PAINTING!!
I had colors in my head, but hadn't actually picked up samples or anything!
This is w/ my phone and doesn't accurately portray any of the colors, but I'll try to explain (Because I'm excited, not because you care!).
The top is an olivish greenish and a rusty orange. Both boys rooms are going to be done in these colors! B wants to share his room doesn't want to share his room wants to share his room, etc... soo I figured if they were both painted the same and bedding colors coordinated it wouldn't be a huge deal whatever he decides at the moment it's time to decide!
He wants his brother in his room, BUT he doesn't want him in a baby bed, that's his dilemma! I'm def. not taking Corbin out of a crib yet so B is going to have to decide here in a couple months! I think it's cute.
The next color is a med. creamy tanish color and a golden (like country goldish?) color. The tan will be on the entry, family room, dining room walls and up to the peaks of the ceilings above the wall shelves and the goldish color will be in the kitchen area.
The bottom blue is for the laundry room. It's actually a creamier/brighter blue than in this picture. I'm nervous about it, but think I will love it. I wanted something fun in there since I spend so much time in the laundry room and it's the mud room that will welcome me home from work every day. Our cabinets are fairly dark so I think this color will work well in there.
The next sample looks black and it's far from it-- it's a milky chocolate and it's for the boys bathroom. It's actually not as dark as I wanted, but there is no window in that room and so Ryan said I shouldn't go any darker... we'll see if I love it when I get it on the walls or if i decide to go darker (it's just what I have envisioned!).
The next color is a gray for our bedroom and the next one with it is called linen and it's for our bathroom (which might get changed).... i'm waiting on our shower curtain to come in (hopefully today) before I decide for sure on our bathroom!
I'm getting SO excited! i want to move in like TODAY!

Friends & Basketball

Well, as I already posted on my 365 posts we got to hang out with our good friends Ricky and Brittany (and Kayden and Kenzlie) and Chelsey and Ryan (and Blake in her belly) on Saturday night! I couldn't get the big boys (Kayden and Brycen) to hold still long enough for a picture, but they did have a ton of fun playing! Kayden is a couple years older than B and B thinks he hung the moon :)

Corbin Fisher (11 mo) and Kenzlie Rayne (9 mo)
They are almost exactly 2 months apart (Feb. 9th and April 11th)
Corbin LOVED Miss Kenzlie's pink four-wheeler (he is in his diaper b/c I was getting ready to change him into his pj's when he discovered this toy!).
This is what I had already decided to get him for his birthday (minus the pinkness).
I wasn't sure if he would be able to do it himself yet, but happily he already can so now I'm super happy we decided to get him one for his birthday.
He loved it!
He got mad when the battery died!
He just looks sooo big!
I told Ryan last night when B turned one I remember thinking how big one was...
Now I just want Corbin to stay my little baby... not happening-- he is doing something new every day!
(Like he now cruises on furniture- transitions from holding on to a toy moves to the couch or table, etc).
Brycen was walking at 9 1/2-10 mo. so I guess I should be happy he's waiting this long, but it just makes him seem so big and I'm not ready for him to grow up (but so happy he's healthy and here!).
Chelsey (baby Blake in her belly-- due the beginning of May), Me, Britt, and Kenzlie
Sunday afternoon we went to B's game.
I always say how he's not agressive... and he's still not by any means, BUT he DID have the ball a lot this week and did a great job!
So proud of my little man! :)

Brycen Hunter

This is SO him!
Totally his personality!
LOVE IT!!

His last game is this coming Sunday and while I enjoy watching him I'm looking forward to a break for a couple months before baseball starts up!

365- Day 17

Day 17:
I took a little extra time to let Corbin play in the tub longer than usual just because he loves it so much. And who doesn't love watching their child laugh and enjoy himself/herself?!
((This is terrible and blurry b/c my stinkin' camera batteries died and I had to use my phone AND of course he wouldn't sit still so it's blurry lol)).

365- Days 15 & 16

Day 15:
So thankful for finally getting to spend some much needed time with sweet friends.
Ricky and Brittany invited us over (along w/ Chelsey and Ryan).
ANDDDD normally we always have to say "No" to plans b/c Ryan is working at the house.
BUT it worked out perfect b/c the drywallers were finishing up hanging yesterday and so Ryan was only out there until about 5pm and then he made time for us to go hang out with friends....
I appreciate it so much!
I laughed so hard my stomach hurt.
I needed that!
I love these girls, we've been friends a long time...
My husband is friends with their husbands...
And our kids are friends...
and it's fun!
We ate pizza and talked about the kids and watched the kids play.
And laughed.
It was a great evening :)
Day 16:
Watching B play basketball (that's him taking the ball down the floor).

365- Day 14

Day 14:
I told B to go take some pictures of his favorite toys in his playroom. He chose Legos and a gun. These things did NOT surprise me at all! Love my sweet boy! So thankful that he uses his big imagination to play all.the.time.

365-Day 13

Day 13:
We went to see what they had gotten done on the drywall at the new house!
It's coming right along! They won't be there tomorrow, but will finish hanging it Saturday!

Snow Day

Tuesday while we were home B begged to go out all day, but it was SOOO cold I knew Corbin couldn't stay out too long. I called Ryan and he said he'd stop by home for a little bit before he went out to the house to work (which was really sweet b/c he is SO busy out there this week preparing for drywallers). Sooo when Daddy came home we all bundled up and went outside. It was Corbin's first time in the snow.

It was blowing so hard in his face!
I couldn't get a picture of him smiling, but he LOVED it!

He crawled away as fast as he could every time we tried to pick him up!
He is going to be my fearless boy I think!
Snowballs :)

Trying to get momma!

Corbin Fisher

Brycen Hunter
That has been the extent of our "playtime" in this snow. It's just been SO cold! Thankfully B hasn't complained too much!

365- Day 12

Day 12:
This morning I thought I'd go to work since I was off yesterday (it's normally my day off on Wednesday, but I had stuff I really needed to get done). The boys and I loaded up in Ol' Bessie and headed to the sitters'. Her road wasn't good AT ALL, but we made it to her house. I dropped the boys off and was making my way back to the highway when I got STUCK. ughh!! Her dad came and worked on the road with the tractor and helped me get unstuck thankfully, but I was thinking at that point I probably should of just stayed at home and enjoyed my day off.

365- Day 11

Day 11:

Unexpected Snow Day At Home With My Boys!
Well, I expected the snow, but was planning on taking the boys to my moms (she watches them if school is out and I'm working). Buttt she text me this morning to say she now has the stomach flu. :( Ick!

Sooo, Besides the fact that I was already up as normal at 5am and ready to walk out the door at 6:30 I still was pretty pumped about not getting out in the cold and snow and dragging the boys out.

I have organized a few different things and read and played w/ the boys and cuddled and done all those snow day things :)

365- Day 10

Day 10:
I will be sad when Corbin turns one, but I will NOT miss washing bottles all the time!
If I remember correctly B was only taking a bottle before bedtime from about 12-14mo.
When did ya'll start taking away daytime bottles?
What does a normal feeding schedule look like for an 11 month old?
Help me out momma's!
Right now Corbin gets a bottle when he wakes up- he normally wastes it and only takes around 3-4 oz.
He has oatmeal/banana or rice/fruit gerber cereal for breakfast (1/4 c. cereal 1/4 c. water)
He then takes a bottle before naptime (mid morning 9ish?)
When he gets up from naptime he usually plays a bit and then has a baby food (fruit) and probably a snack.
Before naptime (1:30ish?) he has another bottle.
Suppertime for him is around 4:30-5 and he has 2 jars of baby food (1 veggie, 1 fruit, or 1 meat).
When we eat supper I feed him some bites of what we're having.
Then he has a bottle before bedtime (which he normally only takes half of) these days.
When do I wean him to all big people food?
I don't remember questioning myself with B like this...
But I'm going to be honest with ya'll- I'm still terrified of him dying.
I don't let him have a lovey or blankie to sleep with.
I'm constantly checking his mouth when he looks like he is chewing on ANYTHING and a million other little things like that.
I'm paranoid.
I know he is in God's hands, BUT I can't seem to let it go.
Okay, not sure where all that came from, I really was just going to post about food, but ya know?!
He has had lots of different foods and done FINE with them all (mac-n-cheese, alfredo w/ spiral noodles, tiny bites of chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, applesauce, pretty much everything we have for supper too- tonight I fed him spaghetti and he loved it and did great with it... I just don't know how much to give him when he's not taking bottles!).

11 Months

It seems that this was a big month for Corbin. He went from crawling and only pulling up a few times to constantly pulling up on anything and everything (the day after I posted his 10 month post this happened, go figure!). He is also now a climber and has NO fear. Yikes! He has had two bruises (one on his cheek and now on his forehead) because he is just constantly falling and hitting his head. I just told Ryan yesterday that I don't remember B being quite so rough! I also think that it is b/c he is always playing and trying to do what Brycen does or get where Brycen is so it results in more accidents than B probably had b/c he was the first or maybe he's just a wild child! lol.

Corbin loves to play peek-a-boo and it keeps him entertained for a long time :)

He has seven teeth now (4 on top and 3 on bottom).

He will let go of whatever he is holding on to and stand for a few seconds before gently sitting himself down on the ground- it's pretty comical.

He begs to take a bath- like sits and bangs on the closed bathroom door. It's pitiful! lol.

I tried to trim his bangs b/c he kept hitting at his face b/c they were in his eyes- haha-- that didn't go well! I have to get him a hair cut appointment SOON... I just keep procrastinating about it b/c I know it will make him look even older.

He's still in size 4 diapers and 12-18 month clothes. I can tell his pants are actually looser on his belly though- he is thinning out. His hands are still SUPER chubby :)

He has mastered a sippy cup by himself now.

Doesn't seem to have time to take his bottles and gets distracted from it easily... I'm hoping it will be easy for him to give them up!

Likes all the big people food we give him and says "bite" as soon as he's swallowed b/c he wants more!

He says "momma", "dada", "bubba", "bite", "no-no" (we probably hear this one the most often now!), "brrrmmm-brrmmm" (when playing w/ cars and trucks).

He crawls under toys and the table and gets stuck ALL the time! He crawls between the end table and the couch. He squeezes himself into the tiniest places and then squeals!!

Started at a new sitter and seems to love it! He doesn't have stranger anxiety yet that I can really tell.

Not sure on his length and weight, but I'd say he's a little taller than last month and about the same weight. We go for his 1 yr check up on his birthday.

We love you Corbin Fisher!

365- Day 9

Day 9:
Day nine of this year makes our big boy eleven months old. Does anyone else know where the past eleven months have gone? I sure don't! I do know they have been filled with joy and happiness by this bright eyed sweetie. He makes us laugh daily at his antics. He's already a big handful so I'm looking forward to see how his personality comes out in the next year!

365- Day 8

Day 8:
I'm thankful for this sweet spirited six year old that keeps me smiling even when I'm not feeling the greatest. I'm also thankful for him helping to keep his baby brother entertained today :)

365- Day 7

Day 7:
This is what happens when momma has the stomach flu for a day and 1/2 and daddy is left in charge. :(
I'm thankful for a husband who was willing to stay home and take care of the kiddos (because there was NO way I could of), BUT COME ON?!?!?!
The funny part is when i asked him what happened to my perfectly clean house he said, "What do you mean?" bahah! I had to laugh or I might cry!

365- Day 6

Day 6:
In the evening I pack the diaper bag for the sitter, get B's school stuff ready and put my purse (and whatever else I usually have like movies to take back, post office stuff, etc) on the bench by the front door. If I didn't do this I would be a crazy person in the mornings and would never get anywhere on time or with out forgetting something we needed. This helps me feel sane.
At the new house we're having cubbies/lockers built in the laundry room to match the cabinets. I can't wait for those :)

Sickies

Last Friday at 5am I woke up to B screaming "MOM I PUKED" in the most pitiful voice :( He wasn't kidding either- it was EVERYWHERE. Poor little guy! I felt so bad for him- he looked awful. He has never had the stomach flu except when he was 2 mo. old (guess we've been pretty lucky about that!). He puked about every 2 hours for the rest of the day until late evening. It was a long day, but he was extra sweet (just whiny b/c he wanted to eat and he couldn't even keep down sprite).

Poor sick boy!
This little mess maker struck again!
I was feeding him his cereal and fruit for breakfast and B puked (all over the couch)... I sat the food on the counter and went to take care of B. Somehow Corbin got the bowl and spoon off the counter and had it EVERYWHERE (including the floor and he was covered head to toe).

Saturday B woke up feeling really good (just tired still and not much of an appetite, but not sick to his stomach). Ryan went to work out at the house and came home after about 30 min. and was sick. He had it much worse than B though. It was terrible trying to keep C away from B and then from Ryan while they were sick. It was a longgg weekend (and not in a good way!). Lysol, bleach, and tons of soap were my best friends all wk/end.

I prayed and prayed and prayed that Corbin and I wouldn't get it. I HAD to go back to work Tuesday after being off for two weeks and I didn't want poor Corbin to get it b/c what a mess for a little guy to be sick-- God answered those prayers and neither of us even had a hint of it!

Random

This little man is a MESS MAKER! I can't get over the messes he makes! I don't remember B being quite so messy! haha!
I was washing dishes and I turn around to THIS-- all my recipes spread out all over the floor!
He is a climber now-- yikes!

Being sweet :)
Attacking his brother!

Playing :)

This was one of C's Christmas gifts from my Grandma and I'm not sure who likes it more :)
Also, Corbin started at a new sitter on Tuesday. It went great and I'm praying it stays that way!
Brycen wasn't ready to go back to school on Monday, but I think he is back to enjoying it now that we're back in the swing of things! :)

Christmas Evening

Christmas Evening for supper we always have Christmas w/ the Sims' side of the family. We switch back and forth between my moms and my Aunt Lisa's (they switch Christmas and Thanksgiving so no one ends up hosting both).

4 Generations-
My grandma Judy, My dad (Rick), Me, Brycen & Corbin
My daddy and I :)

Corbin got tired while we were watching old home videos of past Christmas' (like when I was 4 and 5) and past years of Easter (around the same age). My cousin put them on DVD for everyone so that was fun and a great surprise!

The boys got John Deere Stuff, books, and Corbin got a glow worm :)
