UGH!

I have an update coming... I really do... BUT for now it's going to have to wait, because I'm a total ditz these days and have "misplaced" my camera. I can remember taking a picture and laying it SOMEWHERE so that I would remember to charge the battery... but I never did charge the battery and now I have no idea where that SOMEWHERE is that I layed it... I have looked everywhere in the house... and I know it's in there somewhere... it's driving me crazy! I really think I would lose my head these days if it wasn't attached!

Weekend and 26 Weeks

Thursday night we ended up having to go to Jasper to Home Depot... us and our home projects! lol. We went to pizza hut to eat and our pizza tasted like soap... yikes, not good! Then Home Depot didn't have what we needed so it was a pretty bummer of a night!

Friday night Ryan went to the cabin again to hunt. Brycen went to the chiropractor w/ me after work and then we ran home and got his stuff packed and met my mom in town for supper at China Wok (seriously, best Chinese food ever, ya'll should try it!). Then we went and hung out at my mom's (my dad was at the cabin too). I made tutus and B and my mom watched a movie on TV. Brycen got to spend the night, but I was there until after 9pm so it wasn't too bad on me I guess, lol. I went home and put laundry away, fun stuff, and then went to bed. I actually slept REALLY good that night!

Saturday morning I got up and worked on tutus and laundry. My mom brought B home and we hung out... Ryan got home around noon and him and B went to get the H1N1 vaccines... Well, B got his second dose and Ryan got his. Poor Ryan hates needles (crack me up-I just don't see how he can gut a deer, but hate needles), he thought he was going to get the nasal mist, but then B insisted on watching Daddy get a shot first so they made Ryan get a shot too! haha! He didn't think it was very funny, but what a good daddy he is :) I did laundry and worked on tutus all day... I did other stuff around the house... I was worn out! We really just hung out that evening which was really nice. B and I did make brownies that all three of us were craving :) I didn't sleep well that night... it's always a little disappointing to sleep well one night and then not the next, but I will survive the next 12 weeks! Oh yah- Ryan didn't get a deer... He shot a doe and he said it went down flat on it's back and he KNEW it was dead... he then heard some other deer moving so he looked up thinking there might be a buck he wante too and when he looked back to where his doe was IT WAS GONE! He wasn't in the greatest mood after that. He said he trailed blood a little ways, but then it just stopped. He was pretty disappointed!

Brycen w/ our brownies! We iced them AND sprinkled them, lol!

Sunday we got up and went to church and then ran to WalMart for a few things... well actually only Ryan went in (thank you honey!). We came home and ate a quick lunch and rested and played a little bit... then Ryan went over to my parents to help them out on their new wood floors. I got some more tutus done and then B and I went over there too. B really was a big helper for Ryan and my Dad. We also got a ride in "the hotrod" lol. Brycen had the biggest smil on his face the whole time. We got subway for supper, YUM... Man, I'm craving that now!

Last night we went to Evansville... I got a big Christmas present- I'm so excited :) lol We left B w/my parents and uncle so he could "help" them finish up their new wood floor and we finished his birthday and Christmas shopping. We can't do it when he is with us, he is too smart for that anymore! I am completely done w/ Christmas shopping now and that makes me sooo happy! I wasn't too thrilled about going to Evansville again, especially when it was my last week w/ out an appt., but I survived! I am sooo glad to hav my shopping done and I'm getting a great Christmas present! I can't believe Brycen will be 5 in a little less than 3 weeks!

26 Weeks Down- 12 to go!

Dr's Appt. and Field Trip

Tuesday I had my 25 week check up w/ Dr. Reisinger. I had gained 1 lb (total of 11) and my BP was 100/60. C's heartrate was 160. Sooo great appt. nothing bad to report means nothing good, right?! I go back in two weeks on Dec. 1st and that will be a busy day b/c I do my pre-admission appt. at The Women's Hospital, then I have to drink the nasty glucola drink and head over to St. Mary's to my Dr. for my labs and then an appt. w/ Dr. R! I am not looking forward to that drink at all. I know--I'm a whiner! After that appt. I will start going to the Dr. every week... I really can't believe that time is almost here! Obviously, I'm starting that a little sooner than someone w/ a normal pregnancy, but I still can't believe I will be to my third tri-mester.

Yesterday I went to the chiropractor in the morning and then we had Brycen's field trip to the bowling ally. He loves bowling. He did really good too! A strike and two spares- he is better than me... but that's not saying much considering I'm TERRIBLE at bowling! haha!

After the field trip we got our usual Taco Bell and then headed to Wal-Mart. I was glad to have it all done and get home! Brycen was so tired he fell asleep on the way home. He has pretty much cut out afternoon nap time at home most days, unless he is just really tired. I was glad he got one in yesterday. I tried to nap as well since I was so tired (no sleep for me lately again), but my body doesn't know how to sleep anymore apparently so I couldn't even get in a nap!

This is the newest addition to our family--- Bear!
Picture is compliments of Brycen.
He really wasn't meant to be an indoor pet, but he kept running inside everytime we opened the door. He is pretty cute... and very playful which B loves. He is going to the vet on Monday so hopefully he'll still love us after that! haha. He never even had one accident on the floor so that was super easy- much easier than a new puppy. haha. I'm not a cat person, but really, he is cute. Ryan hates cats and even likes him sooo.... I was worried it would bother Brycen's allergies/asthma, but he hasn't seemed to be any worse than normal so that's good... I'd hate to break his little heart and have to put the thing back outside. We already know he likes mice too b/c he ate one outside on the deck- yummy, I know

Brycen took this of himself, he loves taking pictures and sneaks my camera out of my purse and it's case quite frequently these days. He's just so cute though, thought I'd share :) I guess maybe it's not proper to call your own child cute, but really, I think he is, so I'm going to say it anyway :) hehe!

He got to take a movie to pre-school to watch today... I guess that's the cool thing to do these days. He chose Country Bears. He loves that movie. His teacher was excited b/c she said that's a movie even she likes, haha! He thought that was neat that his teacher liked the same movie as him.
Tonight we have to run to Home Depot to get some things- house project stuff- go figure! I'm soooo glad tomorrow is Friday. I'm very much looking forward to relaxing this weekend!

Just You and Me

Well, Thursday evening we had to go to Evansville to help my parents get their new wood flooring brought home. It was def. worth the meal at Texas Roadhouse to go help them though (not that we wouldn't of helped if we weren't eating there!) haha! Big bonus was that we got to see my brother b/c he came over from school to eat supper w/ us! It was a late night, but I survived.

B waiting on his food!
B and my Dad-- they both look asleep

My brother and -- I actually hate this picture of myself b/c my face looks like a whale (no, please don't say it doesn't, b/c it really does!), but it's actually a picture of my brother SMILING and not making some silly face!
Friday I went to the Chiropractor... I finally broke down and went b/c I could barely stand up from sitting on the floor b/c of the pain... I really needed to go when pregnant w/ A and for sure after I had A (c-section), but I hate going to any dr. so I kept putting it off... well, I'm so glad I didn't put it off any longer. I go back on Wednesday and I can't wait! My whole pelvis was out of place and that was the source of my major pain I guess... plus had a few other things wrong... I could tell a big difference on how I felt on Saturday, but it was hurting again last night... I realize it got so bad that the adjustment won't start holding for quite awhile (especially since I'm pregnant). After my appt. I picked up B and we ran to Jasper to do a few errands and then we came home and played legos all night... I literally built a K Nex Lego Fire Truck more times than I care to mention! haha! Ryan was gone all weekend so it was just me and B (hence my title to this post). Brycen got teary on the phone talking to Ryan on Friday. He was fine until he talked to him and then he realized how much he was missing his daddy! He just doesn't think it is fair at all that Daddy gets to go to the cabin hunting w/out him... there have been promises of maybe next year... Momma doesn't like that idea though so we will see.
Saturday we got up and played and then decided we would just go see Daddy so maybe B's day wouldn't be so rough (having to hang out w/ momma while Daddy had all the fun!). It is about an hour away so not too bad of a drive and I knew Ryan was wanting to see B too since he felt bad that he cried on the phone the night before! Plus, it makes him so proud that B loves hunting and "man stuff" as much as he does! You will be able to tell that from the next few pictures. I don't mind, I love watching them together.

He loves putting on Daddy's hunting clothes

Ryan and B w/ the beaver at my uncle's cabin (behind them is a picture of my Papaw w/ a buck)... that made me sad... there were lots of memories of my Papaw here... it must of really stirred them up in B too b/c he talked about Papaw all weekend and sang a song to Corbin last night about him. I know my Papaw loved it how much B was/is into hunting and fishing. I wish he were still here to see him growing... but that's selfish, because he isn't in pain anymore...

A little boys dreamland! 2200 acres w/ nothing to do but run around!! It really is gorgeous up there! Sooo peaceful, I could be talked into moving up there very easily I believe.

Cutest Little Buck EVER!

My Boys <3

trying out daddy's tree stand--- really low of course! I love this picture b/c they had no idea I was taking it and it just really shows their close relationship and their love for each other I think!
When we got back from the cabin we just hung out all evening... we watched Bambi (of course!) and didn't do a whole lot.
Yesterday B woke up really missing his daddy and I didn't hear much else except, "when is Daddy going to be home!". We made it through the day though and got to finally meet and hold this little sweetie.

Kianna Brielle! She is sooo cute and she even smiled at me (probably b/c I made her a tutu!) haha :)

Ryan made it home (without a deer) :(

We were both glad to see him though!

Odds and Ends...

Last week I meant to post this, but I forgot... who would of thought?? These days I def. have pregnancy brain! Anyway, I ordered these from Steph and she was so quick and easy to work with! Ya'll should go check out her baby items, even if you aren't expecting or don't have a little one they would make GREAT shower gifts! This is a mommy on the go set (not sure of exact name, but it's something like that!). It's a costume wipes case and a diaper carrier. You can fit the wipes case and about 4 or 5 diapers in the diaper carrier and then instead of dragging your whole diaper bag to the bathroom (b/c if you are like me you don't know what to do w/ it once you get there!) you can grab these out of your bag and just take them! They are just adorable I think! She has different patterns too. It's one of the only things I've bought specifically for C so that made me happen too! (p.s. you are getting a sneak peak at our counter tops!).
Monday I called and got my pre-admission appointment scheduled at The Women's Hospital. Soo before my appt. on the 1st of Dec. I will go to that appt. I will be glad to have that out of the way... Seems like I just did it w/ A though... Monday night we were just at home... played cards w/ B that night I believe and did laundry. I was flat worn out b/c of ot sleeping, but thankfully Monday night I was able to sleep. PTL!!
Tuesday Brycen had school pictures in the a.m. and the him and Ryan went to get haircuts that evening while I headed to Bible Study :) Which I enjoyed, as usual! That night was a little harder on sleeping, but once I got to sleep I slept well and my RLS has really been doing better... my aunt who has it told me to put a bar of soap at the end of my bed under the sheet... sounds pretty kooky, but I was desperate. I really have no idea if that is what is helping it or not, but I'm not taking any chances, I'm leaving it there!
Yesterday was our day off... B and I hung out in the morning, did some laundry and picked up a few things around the house. We headed off to Wal-Mart. We left our house at 11am and we were out of Wal-Mart leaving the parking lot at 12pm! That's very unusual... we didn't have to wait in the check out line or anything! I was so excited! We got taco bell for lunch (our usual!) and headed home. We played outside all afternoon and it was sooo nice!

B and Izzie (our dog!)... Best buds!

B playing in his sand pile.

He had my camera out and took about 20 pictures... when I was looking through them I found this one and I had to share, b/c who can resist these big blue eyes?!

Monday I didn't get around to getting a belly picture, so here I am at 24 weeks and 2 days.
I def. grew from last week! Each day it seems that C's kicks get harder and harder. I'm really really enjoying the comfort that that brings me. Currently, he is kicking my ribs :)

Tonight we have to run to Evansville... I'm already tired so I hope I can wake up some before then! I have been working on tutus every night- they are so fun :) I did a black and white w/ black and white polka dotted ribbon yesterday that turned out really cute! The little girls grandma is so excited and that makes me happy to see others excited about something I've done! Ryan and B just laugh at me- BOYS- they just don't get the need for all the poofiness :) haha!

Weekend

Friday night Ryan, B, and I went to Jasper and ate at Fazzoli's and then took B to see A Christmas Carol. I don't recommend that movie BTW. Ryan and I both thought it was a creepy kids movie. We did enj0y our night out w/ our little family though!
Saturday we had a major workday outside. We took the trampoline down, cleaned the garage, cleaned out my car, got rid of my nasty mums... and I cleaned the house. Seriously, that list doesn't look like a lot, but ou car garage was TERRIBLE... and my car was too! I was flat worn out!
This is sooo typical Brycen.
Sunday we went to church and then went to Jasper to get some stuff at Home Depot and Wal-Mart. We ate lunch at Long John Silvers and then came home and enjoyed the gorgeous day outside!

My dad got a new "toy" and Brycen said, "Oh cool, Papaw got a hot rod!" lol

We had a really really productive weekend and I'm sooo happy we got so much done AND had fun with each other-- just us three all three evenings/days. It was SO nice to just hang out w/ each other.

In other news, I'm 24 weeks pregnant today--14 left to go! No picture today though. I am so exhausted. This dumb Restless Leg Syndrome is kicking my butt- I haven't been able to get to sleep before 2am in days... I'm sooo tired that I go to bed at 9, but then can't fall asleep due to feeling like my legs are crawling. UGH. Dr. R told me to try tylenol pm, but that just made it worse! I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to make it through the day at work, I just feel like I'm in a fog I'm so tired. I really really am grateful to be pregnant. Believe me. I. Am. But it is really taking a toll on my body and being so exhausted is making me feel like I'm kind of sort of losing my mind.

The tutu business is going good :) I am grateful for the distraction right now b/c I can sit on the couch and do it and I really don't feel like doing anything but sitting on the couch right now . Soo, now that I am done being Debbie Downer I'll end this post. Please pray I can start sleeping better. I can deal w/ all the othe aches and pains that have to go w/ being pregnant but honestly going on just a few hours of sleep is something I can't do, or at least do well.

VERY RANDOM!

We haven't been up to all that much this week... Wednesday a cat came to our house... we've always had a cat outside to help w/ the mice since we live practically in a field. Well, the week that they harvested the field beside/behind our house our cat got ran over :( So this really really pretty cat showed up on Wednesday. Brycen was so excited. I think she might be someone's inside cat b/c EVERY TIME we open the door she runs in and wants to stay in. I don't know whose it would be though b/c we don't have many neighbors and I know it's not our neighbors across the road so I guess she is going to hang out outside our house. Whatever room we are in, she goes and sits in that window and watches us. It's so funny. It's been interesting trying to keep her out though b/c she gets in the door really quick! She is a calico and really pretty, B named her "Calico" lol original huh?! Anyway, Wednesday around lunch time B and I went to Wal-Mart... blah! We got it done though... I came home and made two tu-tu's... I really just started out making two... one for each of my niece's for Christmas... but I guess now I'm in business lol. Thanks a lot ABBY YODER! haha. No, it really is fun and it is the only girlie thing I get to do since I have all these boys :) I made Broccoli Cheddar Soup for supper that night... Courtney was that your recipe?? I was thinking so... anyway, it was SOOO good!

I got our water bill in the mail the other day (Monday I think?) and it was more than DOUBLE what it normally is.... I thought, well there is just a mistake so I called them and they said they had installed a new meter by our house so that there was probably just a misread or something and they would have someone go check it and to call back in a couple days. Well, I called back yesterday and it was NOT a mistake! They said we must have a water leak and it must be pretty big b/c since getting our bill we have already used more water this month than the whole last month!! UGH! Sooo when Ryan got home that's what he did, searched for a stinkin' water leak! I felt bad just sitting inside while he was out in the cold, but there wasn't a lot I could do to help. He did find the water leak and it's pretty HUGE! My dad and him are going to fix it tonight. I'm glad he was able to find it... he had to dig up a huge spot in our landscaping though :( At least it is fall/winter so maybe by spring the area will look back to normal... We really do have the worst luck sometimes!

Brycen has been a wild man the past few days. I don't know what his deal is, but he seems to be bouncing off the walls! Must be something in the air b/c now that I think of it, C has been more wild than usual as well bouncing off my insides! I woke up to him kicking me VERY hard this morning- that's the greatest feeling! :) Somehow this morning I woke up feeling very awake! I shouldn't feel that way b/c I slept terrible last night, but I was wide awake and I'm thankful! Maybe it has something to do with the fact that it was easier to get up since it is Friday! haha! Work has been crazy this week with the arrest of the crazy guy who was wanting to blow up the court house... I normally don't take those threats to our office and our prosecutor very serious, because we/he gets them A LOT... just people blowing off steam out their mouth, but this guy... seriously crazy. When I heard about it I knew he really was capable of it... and then they found actual bomb making materials at his house... pretty scary! The Lord was watching out for us though and gave Darrin (my boss/prosecutor) the wisdom to know this time it wasn't just a threat. I'm so thankful for the Lord's protection... the guy was schedule to be in court all this week for his trial... it sounds so weird when you type that out that it actually was most likely going to happen. Just a reminder that we never know when our last day might be... so make sure you live life like it's your last and don't just live for the weekend (like I tend to do sometimes!).

Well, tonight Ryan is having his first appt. with my regular family dr. It will be so much easier to have us all go to the same place here in town. He went there and got his flu shot last week and it is just so much easier. He has been wanting to change the whole time we've been married I guess, but he just doesn't go to the dr. often enough to think about it beforehand. I finally called and got his new patient stuff done for him. He loves the Dr. and already knows him so he is already comfortable about doing it. When I was in h.s. I worked at the dr's office and got close with him. He is so nice! Anyway, Ryan thinks his hernia might be back... or a new one or whatever :( Poor guy! It was this time last year that we found out he had one. I think he needs a desk job, lol!

Well, this must be about the most random blog post ever... I'm eating my last piece of German Chocolate cake for breakfast and then going to take care of a few court hearings. Fridays are usually pretty quiet around here so I'm looking forward to that!

My Little Scientist

I told you Brycen loves science... him and his Daddy decided to do "real science" :)
his goggles crack me up

and his smile makes me smile :)

Quick Baby C Update

I'm not sure that I've ever posted twice in one day, but I thought I'd go ahead and give a short update on how my appointment went today. My blood pressure was 110/70 (yay for it holding strong at that or below this whole time so far!). I also asked her about a place near my incision... when I went in for a check up after Andon it was bumped up... she thought it was just muscle that hadn't flattened back out and I didn't have fat to cover it... but at that time she also said it could be a hernia, but if I wasn't having any pain to just keep an eye on it... well since I've started gaining weight I've noticed it hurting quite a bit. She felt and couldn't actually feel a hernia, but said it's very possible. She is going to check it out closely when she opens me up to do my c-section and if it is a hernia she will fix it at that time. I am measuring right on track (I didn't ask what I measured, she just said it was "perfect"). Corbin's heartrate was 153 and he was very active while she was trying to get it... we kept hearing it and then he would move and she couldn't get the rate on it :)... stubborn... :) hehe that's okay though! He gets it honestly. I had gained 1 lb. in 2 weeks so that puts me at a total of 10 lbs in 23 weeks- not too bad. I'm going to try and get some sleep now. I got Mya's tutu made tonight..........

the colors just don't show up near as pretty on camera, but it's teal, orange, and purple w/ a purple ribbon. it is so bright and cute in person!

Soccer Awards, Jack Hammer Man, and ER

Thursday evening we stopped by the Dr's office to get Ryan his flu shot... Have I mentioned my big manly husband who can shoot a deer and do all those manly things really really hates needles?? He said the worst part of his surgery last year was getting the bloodwork the week before. I have to laugh at him for this! Anyway, he got his shot, and did fine. I told him he has to have more coaxing and bribing than B does! After he got his shot we headed to Joe Mama's for Brycen's soccer awards and pizza party.

Yep, do you see Brycen? He was telling them a bigggg story! He cracks me up.

Getting their trophies!

He is so proud of this thing!
Friday morning we got to dress him up in his costume to wear to school. They came to the court house trick or treating so I got to see him... my sweet little "jack hammer man" haha! :)

He said he couldn't smile b/c "worker mans" don't smile...

I finally got this really fake one out of him though.
That night we went to my parents to have leftovers for supper from their small group meal the night before... yummy bbq and cheesey potatoes... and other stuff I can't remember! lol. That was the only place B got to trick or treat (besides the court house, where he got way too much candy). I didn't get a picture w/ all his candy... my mom also got him sticker books which he loved and def. came in handy on Saturday. All Friday evening he was coughing his head off and couldn't catch his breath. Friday night we were up every 45 min. to 1 hour b/c he couldn't breathe and would wake himself up coughing. Saturday morning he still didn't have a temp or anything so I was going to try and hold off until Mon. and get him into the Dr., but by noon it was very apparent he was only getting worse so we ran to the ER. We had the same Dr. we had last time (who we LOVED!). He said he was glad we got him in when we did or it would of turned into pneumonia AGAIN. We were just there 5 weeks ago w/ that. When we got to the ER he did have a temp of almost 101 and he hadn't had one at all when we were at home. His chest xray was pretty clear though. They said it was his asthma and put him on oral steroids... he was VERY happy not to have to get a shot! They also put him on a stronger antibiotic so hopefully any infection that would be left will get OUT! We don't want to have to go back in another 5 weeks! When we got home Sat. he just played w/ his sticker books and watched movies... you could tell in his eyes he didn't feel good. I felt so bad for him! That night we were up about every 2 hours (which was better than every hour).
Sunday we just stayed in the house and tried to get our baby boy back to being healthy. I could really tell when the steroids started helping b/c his breathing was a difference of night and day. He was still coughing, but not wheezing. That night my parents and brother came and brought us chili. My brother was home for the weekend and B was heartbroken when I told him he wasn't going to get to see him since he was sick and we didn't want to get out. He was so happy when they decided to just come see us. He was begging Joe to just stay all night and have a sleepover and not go back to school. It was sooo sad!
Yesterday I let B sleep in a little bit b/c he had been up through the night again doing breathing treatments so I didn't want to wake him up when he was sleeping well. We came into work/school a little late... which was good for both of us. Last night I tried to rest up b/c I know my body is just run down from being up so often through the nights. I slept better last night than I had in about a week I think (and it still wasn't great!). Today I have to leave for the Dr. around 1pm. Brycen told me he would rather stay at school than go w/ me :( I think they are doing something fun today though. I have a few errands to run after my appt. I have a baby shower gift to get for this weekend and some other stuff I need to get afterward. I am soooo looking forward to my day off tomorrow.

23 Weeks

23 Weeks- 15 to go!
I have an appt. w/ Dr. R tomorrow- just a check up, but I have to say I look forward to them, just to hear the heartbeat and know everything is going well. Although, from all the kicks I've been getting this evening I know Mr. C is doing well and enjoying that German Chocolate cake I ate w/ my supper :) He has really good taste!
I have a weekend update coming- hopefully tomorrow... I'm exhausted. Friday and Saturday we did breathing treatments every hour and last night every few hours. Tonight I have just rested and not done much of anything except give B a bath b/c I'm soooo worn out. I'm praying that I can actually sleep tonight.
