Graduation & Grass

Kennedy & Brycen at their pre-school graduation
Corbin lovesss his little tootsies touching the grass :)

I have so many pictures and quite a bit to update on, but no time.
Working (ew), moving (ew), and time with my boys (yay), hasn't left me with a lot of free time to update... Hopefully, when this yucky moving stuff gets over this weekend I'll have more time for a better update :) Wanted to share some pics of my cuties though!

Opening Day- 3 weeks late :)

C and I waiting on the parade to start
B and his bestie Joey walking in the parade!

again- best friends.

i can't believe my baby is old enough to play baseball... just can't get over it.

his great hit to the outfield :) he was so excited "it went in the grass"
getting ready to tell the other team good job after the game!
Yesterday, we had opening day for baseball. It was supposed to be 3 weeks ago, but we got rained out that day. We had the Little League Parade down main and to the baseball fields on Illinois St. I dropped Ryan and B off so they could get the team together and line up and then C and I went to sit at Joey (his best friends) great grandma's house with Joey's mommy and sister to watch the parade. B was so cute yesterday morning he woke up and it was light outside (around 7:30am). He said, "oh no, momma we missed my parade!". It was too cute. During the week he has to get up so early for me to be at work by 7am that it's still dark out. He isn't used to waking up when the sun is out already! He LOVED the parade and had a lot of fun being in his first one. The parade goes by the jail (which is creepy...). I remember being in the parade and all the people in jail would look out their little windows and wave at you... very creepy. I had told B they might do this just to warn him, well I guess he was looking for them when he walked by there and they weren't in the windows. He was mad! lol. He said, "mom those people in jail didn't wave at me- I didn't even see them!". haha! He is obsessed with police officers and jail and such (hence why he had his brother hand cuffed to the end table ;)).
After the parade they had the opening ceremony where they introduced all the teams and said the Little League Pledge and had the singing of the National Anthem. It was so fun... I remember having our ceremonies on that exact same field... I can't believe my baby is now old enough to do that! I shouldn't be that old! haha! After that we had a couple hours until our game which was at 1pm. We didn't really have time to come home and eat and stuff so we went to Smokehouse 423 and got BBQ and took it to the park to eat it. The Ridao's (B's best friends family) did the same thing. It was a nice day to waste a couple hours doing that and visiting.
We had our game. I can't believe how much our team is improving! It just amazes me. They still do the funniest things though and it just cracks me up! I still think one of B's favorite parts is getting his free snow cone after the game ;). Yesterday he got red and blue mixed together. Looked pretty gross, but he said it was good!
We had to rush home and start packing more and hauling more to storage. I have no idea how we have so much stuff. My yard sale went over really well last week and we got rid of a ton of stuff, but man we still have so much it's ridiculous! Ryan, B, and I took three truck and van loads to storage. Three trips with the van and the truck packed full. B really is such a big helper and he loves doing it. I am so thankful C is such a good baby. He doesn't really care what we are doing. He slept during B's game yesterday and then when we went to storage he was just happy to be outside :). It sure was hot though! He was sweating!
We were so pooped last night and went to bed early!
This week is busy with preschool graduation, a game, eye dr. appt., and more packing and moving.
Update on the ground- the resurvey is done! We got a copy of it in the mail yesterday. We have to take it to the attorney to have it made into a new deed and have it recorded in the recorder's office and it will be officially ours! Should be sometime this week hopefully! Yay!!

Earth Shake

Yesterday morning we were in the van and B was watching The Land Before Time. They said something about "earth quake" on there and B said, "I don't know why they say earthquake every time on here, it's earthSHAKE"! :)

I <3 him.

tired.

B had a game last night- they normally play 2 innings (everyone gets to bat and run the bases). Last night they played 4.
I can't complain, my husband is the coach.
The boys had fun.
It was cold though...
and I was tired...
and thinking of the 100 things I needed to be doing at home.
Watching my big baby boy (as opposed to my little baby boy) run the bases with that huge goofy smile of his though pretty much melted my heart :)
Seriously, he gets his hit and runs the bases with his biggest smile, he was the last batter last night (they rotate each game) so each time he would hit he would get to run the bases with out stopping. Ya know which smile I'm talking about?! His biggest one!
Plus, he had three little girls on the opposing team yelling, "Hiii Brycen!!!" lol, two were girls from his old pre-school and the other was his "girlfriend" Kennedy.
It cracked me up.
We got many comments by other parents after the game about him being "quite the crowd pleaser". What can I say? The boy has charisma! haha!
It might be cute at 5, not so sure this momma is going to like it at 15!
My brother was at the game and B said that it made him "nervous to bat b/c Uncle Joe is here"! I thought that was sweet! He did great each time up though.
Sunday was Corbin Fisher's baby dedication at church.
We were grateful that our families were able to come and celebrate this special day with us.
It did feel like a full circle had come...
I can't explain how it made me feel, but I think things like this still surprise me that we actually do have a precious baby boy here with us!
We all went to eat at Mi Pueblo afterward, man, I love that place!
Both the pictures in this post are pictures my brother took and tagged me on facebook.
I have been terrible about getting my camera out this week.
Honestly, this sounds whiny, but it's the truth.
I'm too tired.
I'm so exhausted.
This five hours of sleep is for the birds!
I can't go to sleep earlier b/c I have a house to clean and laundry to do.
Corbin sleeps great, all night long so it's by no fault of his that I'm not sleeping!
He is such an excellant baby. I forgot to mention that he turned 3 months last week. I can't believe it.
I weighed him at home and he was 14.2... yes, he likes to eat still :)
He's so chubby and his little rolls are so cute!
I love that his brother can't get enough of him.
And the best thing?
Sunday morning when I got him out of the tub, I wa drying him off, and he gave me the biggest big man belly laugh!
I started squealing and I guess he thought that was funny too b/c he laughed at me again :)
Melt.my.heart.
We got him to laugh again yesterday (I think his chin is his tickle spot).
All weekend we packed. And we're still no where near done. Yikes!
Tonight I have to get ready for the yard sale, which is Wedneday evening and Thursday.
SO.Much. Stuff.
I am not ready to move out of our house, but then again I just want to have it over with b/c I feel like we're living in a tornado!
Saturday we got a lot of furniture moved so that will be helpful come moving day.
We are trying to move stuff as we go so it won't be a really stressful day the day we have to move out.
Ryan met with the guy about our property yesterday and the (re) survey will be finished (or is supposed to be finished) within three days! After that it should just be a week or two 'til theproperty is actually finally OURS. Yayy! At least we are making a little bit of progress.
Tonight Erin is coming up from Louisville to visit and look at yard sale stuff.
Tomorrow I have to take the van to Princeton for them to do a treatment on our upholestry (like scotch guard for your carpet). Ryan got that thrown in with the deal- yah, he is good at bargaining, did I say I wasn't? B/c I'm not! lol.
I know this post is the most random post ever...
So while I'm at it I'm going to throw in some cute things that B says right now that I don't want to forget (I don't blame you if you aren't still reading this crazy post!).
Brycen says yeglar (for regular). I love it so I don't really correct him.. bad, I know.
He speaks very clearly, but this is one thing he says all the time. If yu ask him to say "regular" he can and will, but when he is just talking it comes out yeglar... love it!
example- "I want yeglar milk instead of chocolate." :)
The other day I walked into the family room and Corbin was in his bouncy seat where I left him- the one difference was that B had the bouncy seat handcuffed to the end table... guess he didn't want C getting away! haha!
Man, I know there is stuff I am forgetting... I am going to try to do better about documenting the funny things he says... b/c he is funny!
Oh yesterday he came home from school and says, "Do you know what's good about girls when they go to college?" I said no.... and he said, "they become women". I about fell down. I asked him who on Earth told him that and he said, "no one, I heard it on the movie where the dog plays basketball." ??? I have no clue which movie that is??? The only movie I could think of was Air Bud... I've watched the movie, but never real close... It was hilarious, but I was also mortified at the same time.
Okay, I'm going to quit rambling... and I know that's all I've done- that's about all my brain can make sense of right now!!
i hope this post doesn't come off as ungrateful for what i have been blessed with. my kids don't really make me tired- they are the fun part! i'm mainly speaking of work (which i'm grateful for as well, but it is tiring) and the business of selling a house and building a new one (which I am also grateful for, but well... it's tiring). I don't take my life for granted and I hope I don't come off that way- this is just a place I feel safe "venting" too... and this morning I needed to vent about being worn out.

Visit

Last night B had his baseball pictures and his 2nd game. I turned on my camera and before I could even get one picture my batteries died :( boo!! He did really well and got hits both times up to bat! Last night he played 2nd base (last week it was short stop). Although, no matter where the ball goes they pretty much all chase it down and jump on it (like rolling on the ground for it)! They crack me up! We got home late and had to have baths for both boys. I was exhausted- this getting up at 5am is for the birds!

So glad today is Friday! Kayla brought Corbin in for a little visit (surprised me!) :) She had errands to run and ran by for a quick visit- I was so grateful! It just made my day to hold my baby boy for a few minutes. When she sat his seat down and I bent down he gave me the biggest smiles! He loves his momma :)

Corbin and Kaydee Mae on their first trip to town together :)

I stole this off her facebook :) I told her she was going to get really big muscles carrying around two car seats! I can barely carry one! She said in the car on the way they were just "talking" to each other!

I don't have a lot to update on... this weekend our time will be spent packing- we only have two weeks left until we have to move. Crazy!

Catching Up...

Kaydee Mae and Corbin :)
exactly 4 months apart (oct. 9th and feb. 9th)
Kayla sent this to me Tuesday.
Okay, so here is the "new to us" van... It's a Chevy Uplander... Like I said, I swore I would never be a van mom, but here I am being a van mom! I actually love it- so much more room and much easier to get C's seat in and out. Not the best picture b/c it's off my phone, but you get the idea! It was quite the ordeal... we went looking in Jasper Friday night and didn't find anything- rushed to Princeton and got there 10 min. before they closed... we test drove it home Friday night and went back Saturday and bought it. I didn't know my husband was such a bargainer... gee whiz- I was embarrassed! I do not do well trying to make deals, I'd probably just pay full price and be done! Not good I know! It's a good thing he was there doing it b/c he got a much better deal, lol! He said if I had to do it on my own he'd be worried about me! B loves having a van- I told Ryan that B thinks it's cool now, but in about 10 years it won't be so cool to him! haha!
I guess we have been packing A LITTLE too much around here!
B asked me how to spell race car so I told him and didn't think anything of it b/c he is always asking how to spell things.
I found this box with a race car inside... it was taped shut (with scotch tape!)
I asked him why he put "car" above "race" and he said there wasn't enough room after race, lol!
When we moved some stuff to storage last week this HAD to go too! We should get a kick out of it when we move stuff out of storage :)

Last Thursday B had his last pre-school field trip. It was to the Washington Park.
This is Tyler, Brycen, and Arri.
We had a picnic and they played.
It was fun :)
C still loves being outside!

I put this tank top on B one day last week and he said, "I love this shirt b/c it's my workout and get muscles shirt" :) I don't know where he comes up with this stuff! Although, my brother wears shirts like this while running so maybe that's where?

Brooke, Brittany, me, and Chelsey

Saturday afternoon I went to Loogootee for my friend Brittany's baby shower.

Kenzlie Rayne came about 6 weeks early so she is already here and adorable as ever!

She is home and doing great! Last week she weighed 5lbs 1oz. It was hard for me to believe C was ever that little when I saw her!

Saturday night we met up with B's best friends family (and our friends too) at Chuck E Cheese.

It was fun :)

This is Joey, Jessa, and B.

B won 906 tickets (with some help from his daddy!).

Getting ready to leave- Jessa and Corbin... she LOVES "baby corby"

Jessa, Corbin, Joey, and Brycen

after we left chuck e cheese we went to toys r us... b got a bug vacuum... ?? don't ask!? he has been wanting one for a long time so he finally got one! at least it is a toy he will use!

this is on mother's day... not sure why c's lips look green?

it was the best one of the two of them though.

my boys before church on mother's day
yah, i love having them "matchy matchy" and try to coordinate their outfits!

Ryan thinks it's dorky, but i've waited a long time to do this and I'm having fun :)

he was SO done taking pics!

and so was he! this smile is SO fake!

We went to church and then to ryan's parents for lunch and then came home. B gave me flowers :) and I got a sweet card... funny story is that it came from the "women of color" section?! ryan said he knows i'm not a "woman of color", but it said what he wanted the card to say!

we rested for awhile and got stuff ready for the next day (the day i had to go back to work) and then went to my parents for supper.

Monday I went back to work... it went okay. I dropped Corbin off without any tears (although I wanted to). I was determined I would show joy to everyone I saw at work that day. My job can be really negative if you let it be and I didn't want that in my life so I was determined to be positive and show the Lord's love to others. It worked and although I missed my boys like crazy I had a good day... then I picked up B and C at 4 and realized everything I had missed out on all day with them and I pretty much cried all evening!

Yesterday (tuesday) evening wasn't as bad b/c I knew I had today off! I'm really praying the Lord hears my pleas of wanting to stay home with my baby, but even if He says no to this plea, I am just grateful to have this baby boy in my life! There were times I thought that would never happen... I'm trying to be positive!

Today was our day off and I loved the storms this morning :) I love thunderstorms! They remind me of how big God is.

While Corbin napped and B watched a movie this afternoon I whipped up this tutu for a special little girl (that's still in her momma's tummy). I'm shipping it off to Georgia tomorrow :)

I made tutu's for her big sister's that they got for Christmas and now she can match!

I'm not ready to go back to work tomorrow- but I'm determined to make the most out of it...

Need to go feed C and get in bed- 5am comes too soon!

Superhero

I keep thinking I'm going to do an update, but with going back to work today I haven't had any time, but while we were at the car dealership Saturday (yah, I'm a van mom now, in case you hadn't heard- see I do have a lot to update on!), anyway, while at the car dealership the salesman we were working with asked Brycen who his favorite superhero was and B looked at him and said, "God". He said it in a "duh" voice, ya know, like "duh, isn't He everyone's?". It was a proud momma moment. I just hope God keeps being his superhero throughout his life. He is 5 and so certain of his faith, so adament and sure of it all. His world is black and white "God is good, the devil is bad"... I hope this doesn't change.

update to come soon hopefully on what's been going on around here!

Baby Names

No, No, I'm not expecting again! Lol- Kelly over at Kelly's Korner is doing Show Us Your Life as always on Fridays and this week I thought I would participate once again. It's tell us your kids names and how you picked them (or your future kids if you already have names picked out!).

Ryan and I talked baby names before there was ever a baby on the horizon! We (okay, mainly me, but we did discuss it!) wrote down the names we loved on a 3x5 index card and I always kept it in my planner! (yes, it is still in there!).

B's name (Brycen Hunter)- I saw the name Brycen in our church bulletin (when I went to Antioch with my parents) in high school (a few years before B was born). I LOVED the name and always said I would name my little boy that- Ryan and I def. agreed on this name. -- funny story is that now we know the Brycen that I stole the name from! I wouldn't of picked it if I knew someone closely with that name... now my parents are best friends with the other Brycen's grandparents (Brycen Graber). Sooo I'm glad we didn't know them at the time or I wouldn't have my favorite name ever for my first born! I like the name b/c it's different, but not so different that it is weird. I hope he doesn't want to shorten it to Bryce when he is older, but that's why we spelled it Brycen instead of Bryson- so it would be easier to shorten if he did choose to do so.

His middle name Hunter... well I always loved the name Hunter. My best guy friend since 6th grade has been Hunter. (no he is not named after him (although he would like to think so!) I just liked the name). Ryan is an avid hunter so it fits well and he liked it too!

A's name (Andon Joseph Richard)- Umm... lol- his name was a source of contention between Ryan and I while I was pregnant. We saw the name Andon on a reality show and LOVED it! The kicker was that it was the reality show Paradise Island... and I don't know if any of you have seen it, but it's trashy! I didn't want to think of that trashy show every time I said my baby's name! But Ryan was determined and said he didn't like any other name. I finally agreed on it and came to love it! It's the same as Brycen b/c it's not common, but not weird either!

Joseph- named after my brother :)

Richard- named after my Papaw :)

We debated on the middle name and didn't decide for sure until he was already born. I am so glad now that we went with these names. My Papaw passed away about 2 and 1/2 months after Andon went to Heaven- it just seems fitting that their names are together when I speak of A :) My papaw was one of my favorite people ever!

C's name (Corbin Fisher)- His name came together the easiest I think really... I have no idea where we saw or heard the name Corbin... I really don't know how we decided on this name. The biblical meaning (which I shared on here before) really sealed the deal though. It originates from "black bird"- a black bird is what God sent out to see if the rain had receded after the flood. He did as he promised and so it means "God is Good"... After our flood (Andon going to Heaven)- God blessed us with another little boy- how appropriate that his name means "God is Good". (even though God still would of been good if he chose not to bless us with another baby!). I'm sooo glad he did!

Fisher- One night we were laying in bed and talking about middle names and I joked around and said, "Well we have a Brycen Hunter, we could have a Corbin Fisherman, hahahah". Ryan was like, "Heyy, Corbin Fisher- I like that!"... and so that became his name! Ryan loves to fish and I think it's funny that what started out as a really lame joke turned into his really cute (well I think so) name! I'm sure if people hear us say "Brycen Hunter and Corbin Fisher" together they think we are really big hicks! haha!

Girls names- obviously we've never had a girl, but each time we had girls names picked out "in case". Brycen would of been Kenley Grace. Andon would of been Brynnan Grace. And Corbin would of been Hadley Grace. (Can you tell we like the middle name Grace?!) :)

I know other people who like to talk baby names too- go link up at Kelly's :)

Faces of Corbin

Playing with the toys on his play mat (see his hand batting the toys)
Determined Face
such a funny boy :)
Happy Face!

biggg yawn!

serious face lil' smile

Park :)

Last Friday we headed to the park to run off some energy. We had to go in town to the bank and post office anyway so we got lunch and went and ate at the park and B played. It was super windy, but we made the most of it. I knew it was supposed to rain all weekend so I wanted to let him play all he could! I am so disappointed in the park.... not in the toys, but how the grounds are kept these days. Seriously, the grass has been so tall the past two times we have been there that it's hard to walk through- let alone push the stroller through! Plus, it gives you itchy legs! My bff Vanessa's dad used to take care of the park and it was NEVER unkept or had tall grass when he did it, so I know it's possible to keep it all mowed! It's frustrating b/c I love the park and the toys and the lake, but who wants to have itchy legs?! lol. Yesterday B wanted to go to the park again, but I didn't want to deal with that and I really didn't want to go all the way into Petersburg, so we headed to Otwell to get a paper (pike co. paper is only once a week) and go to the lil' post office. They have a smaller plaground by the volunteer firehouse so we went over and played there. I think B had even more fun at the little playground! It was much more relaxing for me too! I didn't take any pictures since it was a spur of the moment trip.
I love living in a small town- while we were there the UPS guy was at a building beside the little playground and I saw him coming over towards us and we were the only ones around, he had a package for me! I found it amusing that the UPS guy knew us by our vehicle and what we looked like! He was grateful b/c it saved him a trip out to our house. B thought it was neat too b/c the UPS guy said he recognized him first! lol. (the package was new bedding for our new house I had ordered). I know it's really soon for the bedding, but I had seen this bedding in a catelog (country door) a couple months ago and was thinking of redoing our bedroom (but ryan really didn't want anymore projects and he doesn't like for me to paint- he says I'm messy!). Sooo I held off. I've been thinking of how we are going to decorate the new house and I kept thinking about this bedding. I had looked for others I liked, but I kept coming back to that one... so I ordered it! It will have to go to storage, but at least I have it and know I like it! It's not something that I would typically deem "me", but I guess it's good to change things up every once in awhile!

Sunday Fun

My sweet boys before church
first time for corbin to wear his boots :) (daddy had his on too)

We got half way to church on Sunday and realized we had forgotten B's inhatlor... We absolutly cannot go anywhere without that thing so we had to turn around and go back and get it. So we were about 15 min. late to church (and my husband who drives like a Grandpa--- seriously! actually was speeding!). After church we went to Wal-Mart b/c B had money to get a toy with. Instead of one toy he got several things he had been wanting (a harmonica, hand cuffs, markers, a spiral art set (okay ryan and i talked him into getting that one!), and some more art paper). He has quite the variety there... about the markers- He had to buy new markers, because about a year ago he wrote on our end table with a permanant marker while I wasn't home one evening.... Ryan was so mad that he found every marker (including mine!) in the house and threw them all away. Yikes! We decided a year was long enough to go without- and he has probably learned not to do that again! We got lunch at Wal-Mart and took it home and ate. Then we relaxed... Yep, we RELAXED! The day before we had packed from the time we got up until the time we went to bed so it was really nice to sit down and relax for awhile!

Corbin wore his USI t-shirt that the alumni sent him.
(Ryan graduated from there).
And his Uncle Joe goes there right now.
First time sitting in his bumbo seat.
He is SO big! Seriously! I just can't get over what a chunk he is!
Brycen thinks it's really cool that Corbin can be propped up and sit up now. In the first picture Corbin was sitting beside him on the couch and he just thought that was the coolest thing- he keeps asking how long until he can do "this or that". It's so sweet- I am glad he has the brother he has waited so long for. To watch them interact is the highlight of each of my days!
Sunday evening we were just sitting here and then Ryan called Rich just to chat and they invited us over. We hadn't got to hang out with Rich and Melissa for a long time so we headed over... we usually try not to make two trips to Montgomery in one day, but we missed them so we went for it! It was so nice to hang out with them. We didn't get home until wayyy too late, especially since Ryan had to get up and go to work Monday morning! It was worth it though. It was a fun Sunday of a great church service, relaxing, and being with good friends!

First Baseball Game

B and Ryan before their first game
(Ryan is coaching)
My handsome little man!

Had to wear his shades :)

and so did lil' bro :)

played 2nd base

and got a hit both times up to bat!
(i was so proud!)

c was laughing- he loves to be outside :)

b and his bestie- joey wayne ridao :)

funny lil' boys :) they make me smile.
They had their first game last night. All the kiddos did so good! We got rained out of our game on Saturday and our practice last Thursday so we didn't know how on earth the game would go b/c the practices had been interesting...to say the least! ha! I wish I would of gotten a picture of them eating their blue snowcones after the game b/c that part was pretty funny- B looked like a smurf (did anyone else used to watch that show?!). Also, it's called t-ball (5 year olds and kids in Kindergarten), so people ask B if he plays t-ball or if he has a t-ball game and he gets so mad and says, "NOOO, I PLAY BASEBALL!" lol :) It's so funny! We are really lucky to have a great group of kids (and parents) for our team. It makes it even more fun! Ryan is having fun coaching too :) I am glad this is something he gets to share with B. B thinks it's pretty cool that his daddy is the coach (along with his BFF Joey's daddy).
