My Papaw

I just wanted to ask everyone to pray for my grandpa if they get a chance! Yesterday he was feeling really (like couldn't walk 3 steps) weak and like he was going to pass out. My grandma called my mom and asked her to come home and go w/ them to Evansville to the ER. They didn't know what it was, but they knew something was wrong. He just spent a week in the hospital a few weeks ago and had been feeling much better. I waited, not so patiently, all afternoon for a call from my mom. She finally did call and tell me that he is losing blood. He had to have a blood transfusion. They couldn't pinpoint where the bleeding was coming from at that point. Today they are doing a colonscopy b/c his stool did test positive for traces of blood. His cancer did originally start in his colon (back in 2004) this is when he had surgery to remove it. My heart is hurting for my Papaw. I don't know exactly how to explain what I feel. I'm not "worried" about him in the sense of his soul, I know when he passes away he's going to Heaven b/c he's accepted Jesus' saving grace. He doesn't talk about his feelings much, and I guess this is what worries me... is that he's scared or worried or upset. These should probably be the least of my concerns for him, but... I can't help myself.
this is the last picture of my papaw i have before we found out he had cancer (he was being silly at los bravos in jasper) that's a napkin on his head! he can always make me smile... i think this will forever be my favorite picture of him, b/c it's before our lives changed in our immediate family, w/ that ugly word, cancer...
this picture is blury for some reason, but it's my papaw and brycen... he is def. one of B's favorites... and man, i thought my papaw loved me a lot, he is obsessive about Brycen :)

A weekend w/out Daddy :(

Friday night we went to my cousin's 40th Surprise Birthday Party. It was so funny and a good time, nice to see some faces I don't see too often. Brycen had a fun time too. Ryan stayed at home b/c he had to be gone the rest of the weekend. My mom went with us. Afterwards, Brycen decided he wanted to stay all night over at my parents. He was determined and of course my mom was all for it... so I had to say okay! I went home then & Ryan was just hanging out. We didn't do anything, just watched some TV, it was weird being home all by ourselves!

Our Dogs, Aggie and Izzie (Aggie is the one I ran over and the one sitting up, you can see she is just fine now, thankfully!)

Brycen loading his hummer up w/ rocks :)

Getting some more rocks, he had the thing so loaded down it would barely go!

Saturday morning Ryan left bright and early (like 5am!) to go to Indy for his friend Nut's (yes, that's what they call him) bachelor party. They all went golfing and then paintballing and had a fish fry. I went and picked up B around 9am and we headed to Abbie's yard sale (got a few things for the baby and a couple things for B too!). Then we went to Wal-Mart, have I said before that I DREAD Wal-Mart?? Well I do! lol. Anyway, we got our stuff and got out of there. Brycen wanted McDonald's for lunch so we went through the drive thru and then I got Taco Bell and we took our food home to eat it! It was weird knowing Ryan wasn't going to be home until the next day. Brycen kept saying "It's just me and you mommy." It was so sad! lol. Ryan goes on lots of hunting and fishing trips over long weekends and it's never bothered B to stay home w/ mommy, but this time he was so sad! I think b/c he is older now and realized he wouldn't be seeing his daddy until the next day, and lately Ryan and Brycen have become super close and play together and "work" together outside all the time. B called and left Ryan a voicemail and Ryan said it made him want to come home! lol. Those two were a mess! I think Ryan really did have fun up there though! He could barely walk when he got home yesterday b/c he was so sore from playing paintball. He was like, "umm maybe I'm more out of shape than what I thought." haha! Anyway, after B & I ate lunch on Saturday we went to Jasper to see my friend Megan's new baby, Aaron! He is adorable and has a ton of hair! Brycen loved holding him, and has now decided it would be okay to have a boy baby, "if it's like Aaron." Saturday evening we didn't do much, played outside, took baths, read books, and watched a movie. Brycen hadn't had a nap so he fell asleep about 8:30pm. I watched Legally Blonde on TV. lol... Pathetic I know, but that movie always makes me laugh.

Brycen acting silly at the hospital while visiting Baby Aaron. (grown men were telling him to do this!)

Holding Baby Aaron Douglas Gadberry. He was 7lbs 8oz and 20 inches long! He has adorable soft dark hair! He is precious!

Yesterday Ryan got home and we all played outside most of the day, took naps, and then went to my parents for a cookout last night w/ some family! It was a pretty relaxing weekend and I'm hoping to have more like them! I get tired of running running running and feel like I miss out on quality time w/ my hubby and baby boy!

Baby Stuff

So I started thinking about everything we have to get for the baby... we got rid of a lot of stuff after Brycen b/c we didn't know how long it would be until we had another one... and we gave a lot of stuff away... and wow, I forgot how much stuff you NEED ;) for a baby! I started making a list and now I'm stressed! lol. Ryan thinks I'm nuts, but really March is going to be here before you know it, especially if the rest of the months go as fast as September has! What were your MUST HAVES for baby?!

15 wks & 2 days

I know I've been getting worse and worse about posting belly pics... Here is one Ryan took last night, I was 15 wks and 2 days yesterday. Everything seems to be going really good. I have started feeling the baby A LOT in the past 2 or 3 days! Right now it feels so neat, I know it's so different to the kicks and jabs I'm going to be feeling in a few months :) Brycen loves to feel the baby move around and he is ALWAYS talking to my belly & hugging and kissing on "the baby." The other day he acted like he was looking in my belly button and he said "i see the baby!!" It was too cute! I love his imagination and I hope he stays this excited! He informed me yesterday on the way to take him to Pre-School that they were going to cut my belly off when I had the baby! I was curious what he was thinking about this and asked him how they would get it back on, and he said "they will tape it back on!" ;) too cute! Two of his friends at pre-school are getting babies in the next couple months, so I'm sure their conversations are quite interesting to hear!

Thinking...Hoping...Helping?

I find that as the date draws nearer to what would of been my due date of the pregnancy that we lost, I'm thinking, wondering, about that baby... would it have been a boy? or a girl? Crazy & loud like Brycen, or a quiet child? Blonde hair and blue eyes like our sweet boy, or something completely different? I know that these things weren't meant for me to know and that God had a completely different plan for that sweet baby and for our family. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm VERY happy to be pregnant, and I'm completely in love w/ this baby already, but I can't help but still feel the loss of our other baby as well. I have no idea if this is "normal", but it feels pretty normal to me so I just try and go with it. I have prayed that God could maybe use me... use something that I learned through our loss or feelings I had, to help someone... anyone... I had a "friend" Kristen, a Godly woman, who helped me so much... whether she knows it or not, her words helped me in a tremendous way. Anyway, I prayed that I could minister to someone, be a comfort, or a help, just to let them know that things would be okay, and that God would use me for His purpose in this. Last week I had not just one, but two girls going through similar situations that wanted to talk. I can only pray that I used the words God gave me to be of some help to these two girls.

homecoming pics and other weekend stuff...

Uncle Joe & Brycen (Brycen lovessss him so much!)

Joseph, Brycen, and Brooke (our cousin)

My bubby & I (i know, he's super tall and i'm super short!)

Gracie and Brycen

Brycen w/ the spiderman motorcycle he got after homecoming for doing a good job! :) (yah, we bribed him, give me a break!)

Friday night Brycen was in homecoming (along w/ my brother and two cousins!). I'm glad that it is over! Everyone looked really good and it went pretty smoothly! We stayed until half-time and then Brycen needed a breathing treatment so we had to go! Poor boy was devasted and didn't want to leave! He loved watching the game... and playing there. It was good to see some friends at the game! Our super close family friends Mel & Olivia came up from KY to see Brycen and Joe in homecoming. It was so sweet & good to see them!

Saturday I went went went from the time I got up until bedtime! We got a lot of stuff done around the house... Ryan got the garage door painted (FINALLY!) to match the shutters & front door... must of done wonders b/c two people called about the house yesterday! lol. It does look really good and I know he'd been dreading that task, so we're both glad it's done now! I am about to paint our family room and laundry room so I got all the pictures and stuff taken down off the walls on Saturday. The people before us were nail and screw happy so there is a lot of places Ryan is going to have to fill w/ putty before I can paint! (I hate painting and am dreading ths job, but need to get it done so I can fix Brycen a place for his toys and start working on the baby room, which is now his toy room!). Anyway- I also invited my parents, grandparents and two of my grandpa's brothers and their wives over for supper. We had a pretty big supper & I was worn out, but it was fun! After everyone left I still had to make a dessert for Sunday to take over to our friends for lunch! I burnt myself on the darn oven too! I got everything done and in bed! I think I was asleep in about 2 seconds!

Yesterday we went to church and then over to Rich & Melissa's for lunch. Shawn & Audrey and
Greg and Leila were there too. After lunch the guys went fishing. We were so tired and we were hoping the kids would take a nap, but Brycen & Isaac had other ideas! :) They had a lot of fun playing though. When Ryan got back from fishing we went ahead home. Brycen was out cold in about 1 minute! We got home and all took naps before we went to my parents for supper. Next weekend is going to be more relaxed for me b/c Ryan is busy w/ bachelor stuff for a friend's wedding that he is in. I'm looking forward to the much needed break from busyness and the extra quality time w/ Brycen!
trying to get them to take a nap :)

weekend & dr's appt.

Friday I took off work at noon & went home and packed up mine and Brycen's stuff. We met my mom at her house at 3:00pm and left to go up north for my cousin's wedding. Ryan couldn't go b/c his Grandma's sale was going on and he needed to help & wanted to see all his family (hey, i did too, but someone had to take B to the wedding!). Anyway, the 3 hour trip up there took forever between Brycen and myself, someone was always hungry! lol, my poor mom! We finally got up there and had the dress rehersal & the dinner. Then we went to our hotel room & Brycen got some swimming in. It was late, but we had promised him he could! We didn't get to bed until really late, and I was exhausted!

Saturday morning we had to be up bright and early to go to my brother's cross country invitational that was also up north. It was only about 30 min. away from where we were staying so it worked out really well! He got sixth place out of seventy runners! I was so proud of him, I cried... yah, he was embarrassed :) The meet was at an elem. school so Brycen had fun playing on the outside toys all morning! After his meet we went and got lunch and then went and got ready for the wedding. Brycen had to be there early so we were pretty rushed. The wedding was short & sweet and afterward Brycen had to stay for pictures. He was the ring bear & he made it up the aisle to the second row & then seen my mom and dove right in the aisle :) Oh well, at least he made it most of the way up! After the wedding we went to the reception & Brycen had a blast playing w/ little cousins he doesn't see too often. We didn't make it home until late Saturday night and we were both beat!

Brycen playing after Uncle Joe got finished running

Almost finished! I was sooo proud of him!

Brycen w/the bear he carried

My cousin's little boy, Logan and me!

Sunday we slept in (bad kids I know!). And then we had no power all day. Brycen and I did puzzles & played about 50 games of CandyLand! :) We went to my parents for supper b/c they did have power. Luckily ours game back on about 8:30pm so we didn't have to worry about getting ready in the dark Monday morning, thankfully! I needed another day to recooperate from the weekend, Monday morning came too fast!

Monday night Ryan picked up all the limbs in our yard and mowed. Brycen and I went to Wal-Mart and to get groceries while Ryan was mowing. Brycen just HAD to help pick up sticks & limbs, he thought that was so fun! haha.

Tuesday evening we went to Montgomery for our friend Melissa's suprise birthday party! The look on her face was priceless! She thought Ryan and I were coming to help them clean up their yard and pick up limbs and stuff b/c she and I had been texting through out the day and that's what she said they were doing all evening for her birthday! It was so fun surprising her! Plus, Brycen was so excited to get to play w/ Isaac all evening! I didn't get but one picture b/c my batteries went dead (go figure, don't they always?!). We didn't get home until late and I was so tired again, seems to be my theme!

Yesterday was my day off and I got all my cleaning and most of the laundry done in the morning & then had to go to Evansville for my dr's appt. I am now 14 wks and 3 days (as of today). I had gained 2 lbs as of yesterday, feels more like twenty and the heartrate was 165. Baby seems to be doing well and I'm doing good too (besides all this being tired all the time!). I go back on October 14th and we'll find out if it's a boy/girl (well, if he/she decides to cooperate!). I kind of thought it would be fun to do a poll and see how many people think I'm having a boy and how many think I'm having a girl, but I can't figure out how to do the poll thing, so just leave me a comment if you want to w/ what you think we're having! Ryan and Brycen are still set on a girl, and I'm still set on thinking it's a boy! I guess we'll see (hopefully) in a little less then 4 weeks! I'm sure it will fly by. Last night Brycen had practice for homecoming, he is the little boy that is carrying the crown. It's pretty neat b/c he has two cousins and his Uncle Jos' (my brother) in it as well! I just hope he makes it out on the field, last night was interesting to get him out there... I guess we'll see how it goes! Anyway- I think that catches you all up on our lives :)

When I get to Heaven...

Yesterday we were on our way home after a trip to Wal-Mart and out of the blue Brycen says, "When I get to Heaven I'm going to kick the bad guys." Naturally, I said, "There aren't any bad guys in Heaven, Heaven is a place of only good things, there are no bad things." And Brycen says to that, "Well then where are the bad guys that killed Jesus??" Oh dear, I think I have some explaining to do... :) I love how his little mind is always working though :)

Jesus gives us... pee?!

Last night Brycen could not fall asleep, it seems to be a pattern w/ him this week. We did the whole usual bedtime routine, take allergy medicine, brush teeth, go potty, pray, hugs and kisses... Well about 10 min. later Brycen says he needs to go to the bathroom again. Off he goes, and sure enough he went again. This happened 2 more times in the next 30 minutes (w/ him also wanting a drink, his back rubbed, and several other things he could think of!). The last time he got up to go potty I asked him why he had to potty so much tonight (like if it hurt or anything like that, didn't want him to have some sort of infection...) He said, "Because Jesus gave me a lot of pee tonight mommy." :) We sure got a kick out of that! :)

Anniversary :)

Our anniversary was so relaxed yesterday! It was my day off (wonderful!). I took B to pre-school & then went home & did some laundry and picked up some stuff around the house. I went back to pick up B went pre-school was over & took him for a haircut (mostly just needed cleaning up around the edges). We went to McDonalds for lunch. I am not a fan of McDonalds, but Brycen loves it! If ya'll could only hear him say it! I think now he can actually say McDonalds properly, but he has said it his own way for so long it has stuck around our house! He says Mickeldongals.... :) I promise, it's cute! Anyway, after Mickeldongals and our chicken nuggets we went home and played outside (such a beautiful day!). I loved having the windows open all day and the house being comfortable! It took B forever to go down for a nap yesterday, which stressed me out b/c Abby was taking his pictures at five! He finally did go to sleep and took a little nap... Ryan was able to go w/ us to get B's pictures done, and I was glad about that. Abby does such a wonderful job! Usually getting pictures done stress me out and I always think the photographers are mad or snippy w/ Brycen (hey is 3, he doesn't like to sit still!). Abby was GREAT, which I already knew, but it was just relaxing, not stressful! I can't wait to see her finished product! I'm sure they will be adorable! After the pictures we went to Mason's to eat... we were laughing and said we'll probably still be eating there on our 50th wedding anniversary! After Mason's we went by Scoops for some ice cream! YUM! So, nothing too big, or extravagant for our anniversary, but honestly, it was just how I like it! Quiet & relaxing w/ my two favorite boys! Normally Ryan and I go out to eat and to a movie to celebrate (something we don't do too often), but last wk/end was Turkey Trot and this wk/end I'll be gone for my cousins wedding... We decided not to get anything for eachother this year (as in presents) and to put that money to stuff we want to do around the house. Neither of us need or really wanted anything so it worked out!

Oh yes, and last night, I felt the baby! I started feeling Brycen around week 16, and at my last appt. the dr. asked if I had felt any movement yet (i was only 10 weeks!), I thought she was nuts! But she explained that this time I know what to look for and since I'm thinner it makes it easier to feel things so it might be sooner this time. I still kind of thought she was crazy and didn't give it much thought! In the last week around bedtime I thought I was feeling some "flutters", but still thought I was just imagining something! I never said anything or gave it much thought! But last night, it was the baby for sure! It felt like a little fishie swimming in my belly & you could feel it from the outside if you tried hard enough! Ryan got to feel it and so did Brycen! Brycen thought it was just amazing! I'm 13 and 1/2 weeks so I guess it's really only a couple weeks before I felt Brycen, it just seems a lot earlier! This pregnancy (after the nausea passed) seems to be going so fast! And if anyone has any boy name suggestions, we're open! We still can't decide on a boy name (already have the girl one picked!). I would like to stay w/ the Br theme (the girl name follows this), but Ryan doesn't really care, so all suggestions are welcome :) We can't agree on a name!

Happy Anniversary to My Sweet Hubby!

So this is a day early (better than late right?) But I'm off tomorrow & probably won't get a chance to post this. I just wanted to tell my sweet hubby HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! I want the whole world to know what a great guy I think he is. He is a wonderful provider and he cares for our little family so much. I could not ask for a sweeter husband... I never thought 7 1/2 years ago when I met him in the Barr Reeve parking lot that we would get married! I'm so glad we met that night! God really knows what He is doing :) I am so thankful that he has blessed me with Ryan and all his wonderful qualities. He can always make me smile, he sure knows how to make me feel good about myself, and most of all he is the best daddy in the world! While he was away at college we had our ups and downs and I worried way too much, but you know what, in the end it only made our relationship stronger. I know w/out a doubt that I trust him w/ mine and the kids' (yes both of them already!) lives. He thinks I'm beautiful even w/ my hair in a ponytail and no make up and he never hesitates to let me know it (I disagree, but hey it's still nice to hear!). He makes me feel warm and protected and so loved. So, pooky (okay he might kill me for using that!) I LOVE YOU to the stars and back times infinity. Thank you for all you do and for being the best husband and daddy that we could ask for.

our weekend :)

Friday night we went to the camper. I was loving the fall weather so much I just wanted to put on jeans and a sweatshirt and be outside! We went to Montgomery to the camper and ate supper w/ Ryan's family. We rode around in the golf cart for awhile & then went to Dinky's, lol. I wish I would of had my camera along! Some of our friends from Ky. were up at Dinky's buying some animals so we thought we'd go visit since we were so close. Ryan grew up going to Dinky's b/c his uncle used to own it. His friends and cousins and him would play there every weekend when he was a lot younger! When we were dating we would go there some. I guess it's a very hick thing to do, but I love it! Anyway, I knew Brycen would get a kick out of the animals (i promise, that boy will probably be a farmer some day!). All he wants to do is live on a farm! While we were there watching the animal auctions Brycen was standing by the fence and the man brought the calves over and let them suck on Brycen's fingers! He thought that was just the coolest thing! I was worried we might be going home w/ a cow! haha! If it was up to B we would of for sure! We also got to see some family of Ryan's that we don't see too often, being that they are Amish. Ryan used to work w/ his cousin (2nd cousin) all through high school and it's always a treat to see him, and his four little ones now! Brycen fit right in w/ his cousins, not even noticing that they look a little different than he does (him w/ his cowboy boots on, as usual!). Brycen is so friendly, with everyone, sometimes this worries me, b/c I think he might just go off w/ anyone, he just loves people! He struck up a conversation w/ an oldddd Amish man (i promise, the guy had to be like 100!). It was the cutest thing, Brycen and him were just chatting away! Come to find out, he is Ryan's grandpa's first cousin :) small world. Afterward, Brycen got to go in w/ some pigs and some of the calves and he was just soo excited about it! I def. think we'll have to take him back, cheap entertainment :)
Saturday someone was supposed to come look at our house (which is for sale, any buyers??!!). The guy stopped by Friday when Ryan was outside and asked if he could come back on Saturday at 1pm. I rushed around Saturday morning getting everything ready and trying to get our camping stuff together too and then the guy didn't show up!! Ugh, that's so frustrating to me, he could of at least called! Anyway, we got our stuff done around the house that morning and Ryan mowed. We got Brycen down for a nap (he was so excited about camping, it was a little hard for him to get to sleep!). I made some Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (YUM!) to take to the camper and got the rest of our stuff packed. When Brycen got up from his nap we left right away. We got there and went up to Turkey Trot to let B watch the truck pulls. He LOVED it! He kept saying "This is SOOO cool!" I thought it might be a little loud for him and I kept asking him, but he said it wasn't! I think he was afraid we might make him leave! lol. After the pulls we went back to the camper & Sonya (my sister in law) and Marilyn (my mother in law) and I took the kids up to get a bracelet and ride rides. They rode until supper time (i was soo hungry!). Brycen also walked right up to a police officer and said, "hi, i like police officers!" lol, the officer got a kick out of that! I tell you, he just isn't shy (unless he wants to pretend to be!). We went back and had supper and then the kids were ready for more rides! We met up w/ Rich & Melissa & their boys and Brycen was excited to have Isaac to ride with! Rich & Ryan left us girls up there w/ the boys and went back to the camper. We let the boys ride some more and then they won their "fire guns" (i'll post a picture). My two dollars at the duck game was worth it! B played w/ that gun all weekend! I think he would of slept w/ it if I let him! After we rode rides we went back over to the Yoder's camper and visited! It was good to get to talk to some people we don't see too often! (abby)! We were there pretty late and then Brycen and I went back to the camper to get some sleep! Ryan stayed to hang out w/ Rich for awhile.
Yesterday morning Ryan got up early (like before daylight!) and went fishing out at his Grandma Knepp's pond w/ Rich. Brycen and I got later, like a couple hours later! He played w/ Jayce and Hailey at the camper and rode his bike. When Ryan & Rich got back we went over to the Yoder's camper and fixed a late breakfast (i can't say brunch, b/c ryan does not like that word for some reason!) haha. It was sooo good! After we were done cleaning up we went back over and got our stuff together to go home. We got home about 1pm. I was sooo tired! We all got showers and cleaned up and then took a nap! It felt sooo good! I got up and fixed stromboli's for an early supper (we were hungry w/ no lunch!). Then we just hung out in the evening. Ryan and I watched "Man of the Year". It was pretty cute.
Brycen was telling them a story (he gets so into it!)
Hailey Brooke & Brycen Hunter playing on the golf cart!
Brycen loved the bunnies and this nice lady let him pet one :)
Brycen & Isaac riding the motorcyles (see the "fire gun")
Isaac & Brycen riding on the swings
Isaac, Brycen, and Hailey playing (the boys matching "fire guns")
Brycen & Jayce keeping Mya entertained (he is going to be such a good big brother!)
Rich & Ryan fixing breakfast

Turkey Trot & Camping

Well, the big weekend has come! What weekend?? Turkey Trot! And I am loving this fall like weather to go along with it! I have been yearning for fall for probably three weeks now! My poor husband is probably tired of hearing me say, "I'm so ready for fall!". I am though! Ryan & I have gone to TT every year since we started dating (back in 2001?!) I can't believe it's really been that long ago! I think I used to like to go so much b/c everyone got to see me w/ my hottie :) haha! I'm j/k... well sort of! I was so young & pretty jealous b/c Ryan and all his friends would be camping, and of course there was no way my parents were going to let me camp w/ my boyfriend! Especially not at 15 when we started dating! lol. The weekend we got married Sept. 10, 2005... Guess what that was?? Turkey Trot weekend! We did not plan in that way, it just happened. It was kind of neat though! All of our friends and family were at TT the weekend of our wedding, a place where Ryan and I already had so many fun memories! Since being married and having Brycen we haven't gone as much (like as in every day) anymore, but we still make it there each year! Ryan's parents have the camper at the camp ground and it's so fun to camp. Last year we didn't get to camp during TT and it was sad :( But this year we are! We are going to the camper, just to visit tonight, but staying all night tomorrow night! Brycen is pumped about camping, he loves playing w/ his cousins and friends at the camp ground. I'm more excited b/c of this weather! Ryan just doesn't get too excited about things? haha! Hopefully I will have pictures from the weekend! Hope everyone has a good one!

He Makes His Daddy Proud!

This is Brycen with the gun Ryan surprised him with a couple weeks ago. Ryan and his grandpa Knepp made the gun when Ryan was about 4 or 5 (close to B's age!). Ryan refinished it and made it look brand new again and surprised B with it! Brycen was sooo excited! He loves guns and he just couldn't believe that this one used to be Daddy's. What a neat thing to pass down :)

They were watching a hunting show and of course Brycen was shooting the animals right along with them! It was cute, once after a guy shot a deer he started getting excited and talking louder and Brycen said, "daddy, he can't be a hunter he's not being quiet, he's going to scare them off!" Ryan had to explain that it was okay to talk once you had already shot it! :) I'm pretty sure that made RYan proud though :)

I think Brycen is going to live up to his name- Brycen Hunter.

Eleven weeks and 3 days and the weekend....

way too close up for my liking :)

*on to the good news though- w/ getting fatter, comes WEEK TWELVE!! Yes, that's right, I'm 12 wks and 1 day now! That dreaded first tri-mester is almost over :) I'm so excited! I am feeling much better nausea wise and I'm ready for this exhaustion to give me a break for a few weeks!

Friday night we went out to eat in town for my grandpa's birthday! Two of his brothers (uncle Dan and uncle Herman, who lives in Bloomington) were able to be at the celebration! It was a good time. We went home and I was so tired, I pretty much went to bed right away.

Saturday morning I got up and B & I went to WalMart... Well first we went into Petersburg to get some doughnuts for breakfast before we went... big mistake for me. I know I shouldn't eat sugar in the morning before having anything else, but I guess I wasn't thinking. I got about half way through WalMart and started feeling lightheaded... I thought I was going to pass-out right there w/ Brycen in the cart, that would not of been good. We had a bag of cheese puffs that we were buying in the cart so I hurried and opened them and what seemed at the time like half the bag, but I started feeling better right away. I'm sure I was a sight, but at the time I didn't care I just did not want to pass out! Anyway- we got through the rest of our WalMart trip and then took Taco Bell (YUM!) home for lunch for us and Ryan. Brycen and I had a picnic out on the porch (basically b/c I'm really gaggy at any bad smell and for some reason I could smell something in the kitchen that was making me gag!) Brycen liked having the picnic outside and it was still early enough that it wasn't scorching yet. Saturday evening we went to the Labor Day Festival in Petersburg and Brycen got a wristband and rode and rode and rode so many rides! We got our money worth for sure! We met some friends (Clint, Vanessa, and their little guy Tyler) there and it was a nice evening. I didn't take my purse in and so I didn't have my camera. I'm more than a little disappointed about that! I'm doing horrible about taking pictures lately.

Sunday we went to church (at Berea). Our friends Rich and Melissa met us in the parking lot, so we could sit w/ them and stuff. I didn't feel nearly as dumb as I thought I was going to! I thought I might have a panic attack on the way there. Ryan thought I was just being ignorant, but seriously! Once I got there it was fine! Brycen just went off to class w/ Isaac when it was time and never looked back. After Sunday School class Isaac and B's teacher brought out their stuff and she said to me, "He sure isn't bashful is he?!" Oh dear me, what is that supposed to mean!!!??? lol... No, he normally isn't, and I can only begin to imagine the stories he told them! haha. I probably don't want to know! I'm just glad he had fun and enjoyed himself. He was really happy about it and said he liked "Isaac's church" lol. Mommy & Daddy liked Isaac's church too :) After church we went to Ryan's parents for dinner. It was good, as always! Afterwards, we went home and the boys took a nap, while I hit up a yard sale! There is this lady I know and she has FOUR little boys and has a yard sale every fall, I loveee going to it! I got some great bargins :) I know Brycen always has way too many clothes b/c I buy for him, my mom is always buying him clothes, and then I go to this yard sale and buy way too much! But I think it's fun :) Ryan doesn't complain toooo awful much! haha. We went to my parents for supper Sunday evening. We actually just ordered pizza, but it was sooo good!

Yesterday, Ryan went to work for awhile in the morning (their computer had something wrong w/ it so he went in to try and get it fixed). While he was gone I got so much done around the house. It was in bad need of it after not being home much over the weekend. I was SO glad for the extra day off. Brycen really likes to help pick up, he gets so into it (well when he thinks it is his idea! when it's my idea he isn't so into it!) haha! Ryan got home about 1:30pm and we all just hung out for the afternoon. The boys took naps again and I did more laundry. I was really tired but just couldn't get a nap in for some reason! We went to my parents again last night for supper. My grandma made a casserole she hadn't made since I was a little girl, and it was YUMMY! We didn't stay too long b/c I was exhausted and Brycen needed a bath and to get in bed early b/c he has pre-school today.
