new door :)

Saturday Melissa and I had a yard sale at their house... the sale didn't go so hot, but Isaac and Brycen had fun swimming and playing :)


We also got a new door on Saturday... Just couldn't get the old one to work! I wasn't too heart broken about having to get a new one! ;) Here is Ryan painting it to match our new shutters!


Brycen decided he needed to paint like Daddy (that ugly thing he is painting is what came off of our old door, now you know why I wanted a new one!). Excuse the pj's and snowboots that are 4 sizes to small, he insisted :)


The finished product! I love it!

Blue or Green??

The shutters before we took them down... I know they are faded, but do they look faded blue?? or faded green?? Okay, well Ryan and I have always had this little inside "arguement" on that... My family says I'm color blind, so I probably shouldn't argue about things like that! lol...



Here is the shutters after we took them down and scrubbed them clean so we could paint them... Well, I scrubbed while Ryan got the paint stuff ready... We ended up having more shutters than what I thought we did... but back to the color story... when we took them down and I started cleaning them, obviously the backs weren't faded b/c they hadn't seen sunlight... what color were they?? Yep, navy BLUE. I had to swallow my pride and admit for once that I was WRONG! Ouch! lol, Ryan was really enjoying that :)

The new color up against the old faded one (green... blue... whatever ya wanna call it!) ; ) I love the new color and I can't wait to get the shutters back up. We still have to paint the garage door and the front door to match before we put them back up though... Ryan said we're doing it tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have some more pictures next week of the finished product! :)

Ryan's Birthday & Kittens

Ryan had a birthday on Friday (he's now the big 2-6) My parents watched B and we went on a "date". We went to Evansville & ate at Red Lobster (YUM!) and Ryan went to Gander Mountain (for what seemed like days!) haha... It was nice to go out, just the two of us!

I'm a Clown!!

The other night Brycen was supposed to be brushing his teeth... he was taking quite a long time & I was starting to wander what he was up to! He came out of his bathroom looking like this (that's toothpaste on his face)! I said, "Brycen, what are you doing?!" He said, "Mommy, I'm a clown. Smell the flower on my shirt." (points to an imaginary flower on his shirt) So I bend down to smell the (imaginary) flower, and Brycen says, "haha Mommy it squirted you w/ water!"

Seriously, where does he get this stuff?! It cracked me up!!
I'm thankful he uses his imagination, but it blows my mind where he comes up w/ this stuff!! :)

He loves it!!

We went to Holiday World Yesterday & Brycen just loved it! He had fun last year, but this year was even better!! My mom, my brother's girlfriend (Braelyn), Brycen, and I spent the day riding rides and mostly playing in the water park!! Of course, I have pictures :)
