February was a slow month for us with none of our kids in sports. I enjoyed it immensely! I love watching them, but the downtime was really nice!
Started out the month going to Louisville to HomeGoods with my neighbor/friend Tasha! We have lived in our house almost 5 years and I had yet to decorate and already needed to repaint (which I did this month!). Anyway we had a fun girls day we have 8 kids between us so a day by ourselves was pretty amazing!
Corbie celebrated his birthday preschool. We took in donuts and chocolate milk and he got to be the leader of the day. I love my littles' preschool and will miss it next year when they head off to kinder.
We also had a canvas paint party at my neighbor/friend Tasha's. B thought he was super cool bc he got to drive me over and drop me off and then pick me up on the 4wheeler. :) it was a fun way to spend a Friday night.

This is how we felt about our painting skills - haha! I don't even have a picture of mine, but it did turn out cute!
On Valentine's Day we had the Willis' and the DeCoursey's over for supper. The kids hung out and played and we played the "newlywed" game. It was a fun evening. Again- I slacked on pictures.
Avelyn Grace and Uncle Clint - or as he calls himself, "Godfather" haha!
Brian, Erin, Lily, me, and Ness
I don't even know?!
We went to some more PC games :)
B thinks he is super cool that he can hang out with friends at the games now. I'm just in denial that he is almost in middle school.
B went to Indy with friends to watch PC play. Ryan had to work so we couldn't go. I was glad B got to go with friends.
and he had his tonsils and adenoids taken out on the 17th. We packed in the fun the first two weeks of the month bc we knew the second half wouldn't be very fun. It had its rough moments for sure, but we are glad it is done. His adenoids were blocking 75% of his airway and making him constantly snotty and his tonsils were a 3 on a scale of 0-4 (he never complained of sore throat!- I don't think he knew what it felt like to feel normal!). Hopefully this will all help. Recovery was definitely rough. I didn't mind having him home with me for a couple weeks though! He went back to school Monday of this week.
Over the weekend he had a birthday party to a hockey game. He had fun and was VERY glad to be out of the house, but he was definitely worn out the next day!
Also this past weekend we went over to Ryan and Chelsey's for a family date. It was such a great evening, but somehow the only picture I got is of cheese sauce! I have to do better on taking pictures!
February is in the books and March is here. B starts baseball this weekend and then life gets much busier! (The three littles won't start until the end of the month or beginning of April). We are looking forward to spring break (we aren't going anywhere) and hoping for nice weather.
