ready

I'm so glad today is finally Friday! This has been a very busy week... I was in a drama at church Sunday night, Monday night, Tuesday night, and it got held over until Wednesday night! Then last night I had PE. I feel like I haven't seen Ryan & Brycen near as much as I would of liked and our house is def. suffering! I can't wait to have some free moments this weekend! Hopefully, the bad weather will pass us by and we can get some landscaping (how fun!) done tomorrow!

Brycen in his toy room... this used to be my scrapbook room, but I hated that my house felt like it had toys coming out of every crack and crevice, so we put most of them in here! He actually plays a lot better by himself now b/c he feels like he has his own "space". You can't see it, but on the left wall he has a recliner and a little table w/ his cd player and bible song cd's, he relaxes there and listens and sings a lot! it's adorable! That movie that he is watching is called "All about John Deere Tractors"! They are one of his favorite things in the world, his room is actually done in John Deere. My mom and dad got him the movie for dogsitting and "taking care" of Goldie their dog while they were in Hawaii. ((okay a huge photo caption I know))


Motorcycles are another one of Brycen's favorite things in the world! Here he is in my Dad's helmet. He thinks he has to wear gloves to ride a motorcycle, so these are actually just a pair of outside colts gloves, not actual motorcycle gloves. While we are driving anytime he sees a motorcyle he gets SUPER excited!

My best friend Chelsey & I. I am in her wedding on October 18th. She is marrying her high school sweet heart Ryan. We are all four really good friends, I'm glad our Ryan's are good friends too. Brycen absolutly adores these two people and they are both very special in his life as well as ours. I'm so excited that she just got her dream job and will have her very own pre-school classroom starting in May!

I love my hubby so much. I'm so proud of him & all that he does for our family. He is the best daddy and husband we could ask for.


Brycen and his best friend at daycare, Joey. These two are just hilarious. THey think they have to have everything the same. They are only 3 weeks apart (brycen is 3 wks older). His mom and I weren't good friends, she was a senior when I was in sixth grade, but we have a lot of mutual friends and would run into each other a lot at showers and weddings while we were pregnant, it was fun to be pregnant and know someone due so close to when I was and now they are Best Friends! Who would of thought?!

Another Best Friend of mine! Vanessa. Her husband Clint is probably one of Ryan's closest friends. I've known Vanessa since 1st grade, but we weren't really good friends, we just knew each other and were friendly. Ryan & Clint have been friends since high school (clint went to my high school, but was Ryan's age), but Clint knew a lot of people from Ryan's hometown and hung out there a lot. They have a little boy, Tyler Quinn who is 18 mo. old. It's nice to have friends that have a child and the same interests as we do (such as no drinking or staying out too late, church, etc.) Vanessa is my prayer warrior. If I need prayer I call her, the same goes for her. My brother was in a car accident on Saturday- I didn't know any details, just that he had been in an accident, she was the first person I called. B/c I knew without a doubt that I could count on her to be praying. I couldn't ask for a sweeter girl, and now she is a co-worker of mine, so fun!

Mya Faith- This was on Easter, so she was exactly a week old. She is so precious. Looks so much like her brother and sister did at that age. I miss her and hate that I only get to see her usually once a week, and didn't see her at all last week : (.

Hailey Brooke, Brycen, and Jayce. Cousins and best friends. I am so thankful for my niece and nephew. Jayce is 7 and Hailey is 4 (her and Brycen are 10 mo. apart). They are so sweet and love Brycen so much!

worry

i'm still worried. it's driving me nuts. not about anything in particular, just about everything! ugh!

i got an email today about barack obama... and how he is going to try to turn america into an islamic country. is this true? i hadn't heard anything like this until i read this email. of course, now i'm worried. i'm not going to be muslim. no way.

i love Jesus. with all my heart.

Spring

Easter means spring... spring is here... but it's still cold. BOO. I'm ready for some WARM weather!




I didn't get any pictures of all of us in our "Easter Outfits". Brycen looked so grown up and handsome.... I thought about making him put it back on so I could get a picture... but it was already in the dirty laundry! : )

This week is busy & I'm tired.

Sunday at church the preacher talked about how worry is a sin... I used to worry a lot, and I still do about some things, but I was doing SO much better about leaving things w/ the Lord. Until he preached that sermon. Now it seems all I can do is worry. It is so frustrating. I hate feeling worried all the time, especially about things I have no control over!

Tonight I am going w/ my best friend to Evansville, to get fitted for my bridesmaid dress for her wedding. That will be fun (and expensive!). I think she picked the most expensive dresses she could find! Oh well, I love her anyway.

Only 6 more weeks of class. Whoo hoo! I am sooo looking forward to summer.

Mya Faith

Mya Faith Raber, 7lbs 4oz, 20 in. long, sweet as can be!















Aunt Chelsa & Mya : ) <3 her sooo much!


Mya Faith decided she didn't want to wait until Friday to come into the world! She arrived last night about 7:30 pm. My poor sister in law was in labor since the night before, it was quite the long night and day... and evening! When she got to the hospital she was no longer breach, she got to have her naturally instead of having a c-section. She was quite stubborn though and had the cord around her neck, which made for a long day of watching a heart monitor go off with every other contraction! The dr. was able to untangle the cord as she came out and she is perfectly healthy! And ohhh so adorable! Her big brother Jayce and big sister Hailey love her so much! Brycen is just absolutly smitten with her! What a blessing!

back home...

Well we have arrived home from Fla... safe and sound, but COLD! I was ready to be at home in my own bed, but not ready to leave the Sunshine State, the warmth, the beach, or Ryan's extended family! We had such a wonderful time down there. It was a reprieve that we greatly needed and have benefited from immensely!

Now, it's back to work... and did I mention it's cold?

My sister in law found out that Baby Girl is breach, she now has a scheduled c-section for next Friday, the 21st. Good Friday! It will definitely be a good Friday! I can't wait to meet my new little niece! I truly am very excited! It is still hard though... I don't want to say I'm jealous, that's not really what it feels like... my heart is just yearning to be pregnant... to feel a baby in my arms again. I'm hoping having a new niece will help to succumb some of that yearning, instead of making it worse.
