Boys

Sunday before church we took some pictures. I wanted to take some in these outfits b/c they wore them in May and I wanted to compare... I'm a dork, I know!

Brothers!
(Somehow this picture got out of order?)
The Boys & I

mean faces, lol... B wanted to do mean faces and I thought it was funny C's looked like that too.

being silly

aww :)

We hardly have any family pictures of the 4 of us (maybe like 2?)

Corbin's throwing his hands up while getting tickeled :) He does this also when Brycen is near and dancing or being goofy!

Zoo & Gatti's

Saturday I begged Ryan to quit working out at the property in the early afternoon so we could go do something as a family! He indulged me and came home about 1:30. We all got ready and headed to Evansville. We took the boys to the zoo. The weather was good, it was hot, but not too hot, and not humid, so we had fun! :)

B with the siberian tiger
B looking at the leopard (the leopard was very angry Saturday!)

B at the zoo!
Brycen, Momma, and Corbin

Brycen and the giraffe...
I think giraffe's are so pretty!

After we left the zoo we were going to go look at flooring for the house, but they were closing as we got there :( bummer! So we just headed over to Gatti Land. We had worked up quite the appetites on our zoo adventure (can I say hills + stroller+ chunky baby!?). We ate and played games... B won lots of tickets on his card and Corbin was amazed by all the lights and sounds on the games! He loved it too!
This was the only picture I got b/c I was carrying C around the whole time (my shoulder actually HURT when we got home!) :)
(also, the last time we were at Gatti's was after my dr's appt. the week before C was born so it was kind of surreal being there with a big healthy 5 month old!)

We stopped at a gas station to get gas and Ryan went in to get us all slushies... B was entertaining his brother by dancing. C thinks his brother is HILARIOUS. The dance act is a new thing B has been doing for him and Corbin loves it! It cracks me up! Corbin gets his arms to moving up and down and trying to move like Brycen. I have a feeling we are going to be in for it when he starts walking!

I was so mad, I got the cutest picture of him with the biggest grin ever while he was laughing at B and I deleted it on accident :(
So here is the 2nd best one...

Brycen with his basketball that he got with his tickets at Gatti's (green is his favorite color).

On our way back we stopped in town b/c our town got a new family video (our other movie place went out of business). We wanted to get signed up and rent some movies. We did so and B was loving the new place! We rented a couple movies and watched Spy Next Door that night. Brycen had been wanting to see it for a long time and I love Jacky Jacki? sp Chan. Our other movie was a bust :( lol (Ryan picked it out) haha :) I don't even remember the name, it was so dumb I couldn't even concentrate on it!
I am so thankful we had a fun day with just our little family!

5 months

Corbin Fisher was 5 months old on Friday. I don't know where the time goes! I say that every.single.month! He weighs around 17 lbs and is 26 inches by my measurements at home. I'd say that's pretty close b/c last month he was 25 1/4 and that's about the rate he has been growing. He loves ALL baby food. He wasn't too fond of peas, but he ate them. We moved up to level 2 b/c the level one just wasn't enough for him, lol! He gets fruit after his a.m. nap and then still takes 4-6 oz. and he gets a veggie for supper and then a bottle. The kid lovesss to eat! He is still a very happy baby, but I'm thinking he has my temper... Yikes! If he doesn't like something he SCREAMS... LOUDLY! and then will look at you and smile like he knows he is funny and doing something big. He has found his voice and squeals like there is no tomorrow.

Still loves his bouncy seat. NOT a fan of tummy time. He likes it for about 10 min. and then he is very much over it! If you sit him up he can sit for a few seconds at a time by himself... but his new trick is throwing himself backwards when he is sitting on your lap or you are holding him so we have to be careful! We are going to have to start strapping him in his bouncy seat too b/c he will jump himself down where his legs are hanging off! He also does that anytime you sit him against a pillow or the boppy. He thinks it is funny and will laugh at himself!

He is wearing size 3 diapers and mostly 6-9 mo. clothing. He can still fit in a few 3-6 month outfits (mainly the Gymboree ones, but even those shorts are getting a little tight!). His fave person is still his big brother and he cracks up at him. B's new thing is to dance for him and C loves it. He still sleeps on the same schedule (7:30pm until 6:00 on week day mornings then back to sleep 'til 9:30 and then an afternoon nap for a couple hours... or on weekend mornings he sleeps until 7-7:30 am and then same schedule for naps).

He loves to look at other babies/small kids. Likes toys and gets excited about them. Really studies his fingers now too (when they aren't in his mouth that is). Still loves swimming and baths and being outside. If he is mad you can take him outside and he is instantly happy.

I'm sure there is more but I can't think right now! We are just so blessed by our lil' man and loving him more every day!

Corbin at 9 days (1 week)...

can't believe it's the same little baby!!

Cousins, 2 Wheels, & Big Blue

My Cousin Laura (and her Dr. husband Jeff) came home from New Orleans to visit
We went out to eat last night and then they stayed and visited!
I didn't make it to bed until really late, but it was so worth it to catch up!
Brycen taught cousin Laura all about his computer
And they drew monster trucks together :)

(we didn't make him wear the helmet, he got it at the safety fair and likes it, lol)
He is officially riding his bike with out any training wheels :)
He has had them off for awhile, but wouldn't do it all by himself (you had to trick him into doing it)...
So proud of him!

:) He had to tell ALL the neighbors too :) hehe

and just b/c I love his big blue eyes I thought I'd share this picture
(love the drool too, NOT!)
he is the droolingest (i know that's not a word) thang!!!
i literally had it running down my arm AND leg the other day!
good thing he is SO cute!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
We have NO plans besides stuff down at the property and I am SO excited!

Fair, Fireworks, & Friends

Corbin likes his exersaucer toys and I think he likes being up so he can see everyone :)
I know this picture is blurry (they wouldn't stop moving), but I love their shirts :)

Corbin's first time at the Otwell Ruritan Festival :)

B was so excited to play this game- he hit the bell to the top several times and had to show everyone we saw after this his big muscles! He won some kind of pellet gun- yikes!

Tickets are ridiculous anymore to ride rides! It was 2.00 a ticket and each ride took 3-4 tickets so we just bought him a bracelet or 12.00 (he only could of rode 2-3 rides for that amt) and he rode and rode and rode!
He loved this dragon coaster and also they had the swings that swing up and out really far- I was afraid he might puke on those, but he didn't! They also had another small coaster ride. The big slide was his favorite still this year! He probably went on it 10 times and I'm not exaggerating!

B with his girlfriend Cory ;)

Friday evening is when we went to the Festival and then at dark we went over to Tom and Marsha's and watched fireworks. Brycen had a blast there- he LOVES Tom and going to his house :) We didn't get home until late and both boys had to have baths b/c they were dirty and stinky and sweaty (like little boys should be!). I think they were both sleeping in the tub :)
Saturday we layed in the pool most of the day (no pictures from that). Then we got ready and went to our friends', the Ridao's, cookout.

They had this inflatable water toy set up and B loved it- although the water was FREEZING!
He is such a silly boy!

B and his bestie "Joey Wayne Ridao"... Brycen calls him by his full name and have since they were 2 and first became friends.

Corbin Fisher got plenty of tickles and loving too!
The fireworks didn't seem to bother him too much- his eyes just got really big and he looked like "what in the world". He is normally asleep in bed for the night by 7:30 so both nights were late nights for him, but he was a good boy!
Sunday we went to church and to Ryan's parents for lunch and then came home and got ready to go to the demo derby at Otwell. We left Corbin home with my grandma b/c I wasn't sure how he would do w/ the noise and it being his bedtime. I think that was the right decision b/c we didn't get home until 10:15pm. We love the demo and always have fun at it! Not to mention the elephant ears and lemonade shake ups! :)
Monday I was off for the Holiday and we just hung out by the pool again :) I'm so glad the boys like swimming so much! B is quite the fish and you have to drag him out, he does not get out willingly! Monday night we went to meet with another heating/air guy.
Last night we went to Wal-Mart and then to scoops- YUM!
Today is my day off and Corbin is napping right now and B is playing on his dirt pile :)
Love lazy summer days!
Tomorrow we go to close on the house paperwork at 2:30pm. I am praying it all goes smooth (b/c nothing else has happened "on time" during this process!) and we get everything done tomorrow so we can start lining people up to get started!

Birthday Party & Fishing

I figured I better update on what we did last weekend since this weekend is here! Yikes! I don't know where the weeks go anymore... life is just flying by!

We went to Lilyan's 2nd birthday party- B swam the whole time so that made him happy :)
She just turned 2 and Brycen is sooo good w/ her! They usually play every day.
He is like a big brother to her and is always watching out for her!
I love how protective he is!
Corbin swam too and that made him happy-- til we got out!
This boy lets you know what he likes (and doesn't like!).
He was tired and so I put him to sleep in their house and carried the monitor around so I could
still be outside watching B and visiting.
When I heard him wake up I went inside and was greeted by this precious lil' smile!
He ALWAYS wakes up happy! The birthday girl!
I love her!
Sunday we took the boys fishing... my parents live like 2 minutes from Prides Creek so we went there.
It was Corby's first time... he didn't do much fishing... he played in his stroller and sat on the grass (he loves it) and tore grass out of the ground and tried to eat it :)

B :)

Having a deep convo w/ daddy!

love it!!

They caught a catfish right off the bat!
I was glad they caught something, but then the rest of the time B couldn't figure out why he couldn't catch something else! lol
He isn't the most patient person...
don't know where he gets that... ha!

Corbin Fisher

He loves those link things now... they all go straight to his mouth.
I think he liked the grass better though- that's where we spent the majority of the time, but I couldn't hold him up (he wants to sit, not lay!) and take a picture.
If he is laying back against you he will pull himself forward- he can't sit b/c he can't balance himself, but he wants to so bad! He doesn't want anything to do w/ laying back against you, he wants to be in on the action!
I think we might be in for it later on with him! haha! I can't wait!
I love EVERY.MOMENT. that I get to be with my boys!

We FINALLY go to close on our house paperwork this coming Thursday. We were supposed to do it this week but the banker guy "forgot it was his vacation". UGH! Oh well, just excited we finally have a day! We have our septic guy and escavator guy lined up we're just waiting on final papers from the bank to get them out there! Hopefully we'll be seeing more progress soon!
