Random December

Here are a few other things that happened in December.
The kids had a birthday party for Jesus at church during children's church. They loved this! So thankful for Mrs.Jo who put it on (Brycen's fifth grade teacher).
The littles and I had lunch with Mel and Deena and my mom for my mom's birthday. Mel was babysitting baby Caroline- my littles were LOVING that! They "helped" feed her and keep her entertained!
Some of the boys before their first basketball game. It was a morning game at PES vs Otwell. So much fun! Ryan is helping coach the basketball team and I got roped into helping with the cheerleaders. I said I would never coach cheer again- never say never I guess!
Doing the lineup announcement. It is so funny to watch the boys chest bump and high five each other. They won their game 26-4.
The last Friday of school before Christmas break they had class parties and ugly sweater day. I can't tell you how thrilled my kids were that I participated in ugly sweater day! Haha!
B and Kennedy at their party (I'm their room coordinator so I didn't get many pictures bc I was busy!).
This was party day too- we were leaving and I grabbed a quick pic of D and Sadie.

Apparently I have been getting lots of pics of Kenken and B! She came home with us after the little sisters ballgame that Saturday so she wouldn't have to go to her big sister's game. :) she is a joy to have around and all my littles love her too! So thankful for their sweet friendship.

IP&L Kids Christmas Parties

Dec 12th the littles had Ryan's work Christmas Party. His company puts on an amazing party for the littles 0-10 and then the "teens" get a bowling party which was the next day.

We got there and had breakfast (donuts and fruit etc). Then there was a magician there to put on a show for the kids. They LOVED that! Some of our best friends, Ryan and Chelsey and their boys were there too bc Ryan H. Works at the same place. We sat with them so the parents had a little catch up while they had their magic show.
It is always weird to be missing a kid!
The kids got to sit on santa's lap and then they give each kid a (nice!) gift!
Corbin and his friend Ellie

The next day was B's teen party. Ryan and I were able to take him together and it was really weird to be with just him. Eleven year olds are so easy! Lol
This is the only picture I got. He was off to be with friends- bowling and playing arcade games. They served pizza and soft drinks. It was like a little date for Ryan and I. We got to visit with more friends and just hang out for a few hours. They didn't make the big kids sit on Santa, but they still got a nice gift (Walmart gift cards)!

We are so thankful for Ryan's job which provides for our family and for a company which is so family friendly.

11th Birthday Party

B turned 11 on Dec 13th and Kennedy on the 14th. They had their pool party on Dec 11th. They have been having their party together since kindergarten and it works out so well since they have the same group of friends! Can't believe they are 11! Everyone had a blast :)

Friendsgiving 2015

We started friendsgiving the year Corbin was born- before it was a hashtag on social media! I love these people and am so thankful for their friendships even when we don't see each other as much as we would like! Friendsgiving was in December this year bc that's what we could work out, but I'm so glad we went ahead and did it!
Our group of kids has grown from 5 the first year to this! Beautiful chaos and one is missing!
Me holding Brittany's littlest one- Cora.

I was in love.
And from the looks of this I wasn't the only one! B loves him some babies!

We had a great meal and awesome fellowship- the evening went too fast (especially since it was a school night).

Christmas Program 2015

December 8th was Brycen's last elementary school program. I was feeling all the feelings. I can't believe he will be in middle school next year! I'm not sure I'm ready for it.
Before the program
Daegan and one of her besties Sadie.
Cousin Ashlyn and B
B and his awesome teacher Mrs. Correll (we are friends and go to church together  and we all love her!)
B and his bestie since birth- (they were born a day apart at the same hospital)
Kennedy
Petersburg 5th grade- a great group of kids. B is on the front row - second from the left.

The program was awesome as usual!
Daegan didn't have a Christmas program bc our first graders do a spring program and the littles had to miss theirs because Corbin was sick with a 104 fever so I'm really glad we got to enjoy B's program as a family! I didn't get as many pictures of B with friends as I wanted bc it was super crazy after.

Polar Express 2015

The first weekend of December we took the kids to French Lick to ride the Polar Express as part of their Christmas. B had went when he was 5, but the other three had not been. They love the movie so they were so excited to go (B- not so much- he thought he was too big and cool). The littles loved it and had fun dancing with the elves (especially our dancing queen Avelyn Grace!).
Corbin (5), Avelyn Grace (5), Daegan (7), Brycen (one week away from 11 in this pic!).

He was not amused that he had to wear the hat too.

Back to blogging...

Well, I'm not sure if anyone will read this anymore, but it is one of my goals this year (I don't like resolutions- I make goals instead!) to get back to blogging. My kids love to look through our blog books and I love having so many memories down. I didn't blog for so long and then when I tried to start back I was overwhelmed. I am going to try to just pick up where we are, but I think on Thursdays I might try to do some "throw backs" to some of the highlights of things I missed blogging about (our family has grown quite a bit and I don't want to just skip over three years worth of life!
Here is a picture until I can get into the swing of things :)
