January 2016

January was a busy month!
We started it out by going to the movies with our besties- the DeCoursey's.

We went up north to Martinsville to surprise my grandma for her birthday
Girls day plus my two boys 💗 she was so surprised (she thought just my mom was coming)!
We spent a lot of time at PC games!
These two- forever friends.
We babysat Caroline and took her to one of B's games :)
These boys hanging out at a PC game- thankful for good friends- and yes Corbin thinks he is one of the big kids!
We played in the snow

Both my girls went to the cheer clinic and cheered with the varsity girls!

We went to the skate palace for our friend Alba's birthday and the kids all got to use the new roller skates they got from Grandpa Ed and Granny for Christmas.
We played in the snow some more.
We had extra playtime due to snow days.
Corbin went with The DeCoursey's to Indy to the children's museum for Zane's birthday (this was his first time to go with anyone somewhere besides us or my parents. I was a nervous wreck but he had a blast!).
He also lost his third tooth!
We babysat baby Caroline two more times! We all love our time with her!
We cheered PC on some more - AG needed her picture with sweet Erica! (Her mom used to babysit me and then I babysat for her!).
At the PC game B got his picture taken with Princeton's Jackie Young- the new all time leading scorer in Indiana!
We watched B play some more- his season ended Thursday. Ryan was helping coach and I coached the cheerleaders so I'm thankful it is over- - we need a break from basketball/cheer 3-4x per week.
AG and our Lily at a PC game.
Erica was crowned homecoming queen Friday night! My kids were so excited! They all love her! She is so sweet and very deserving.
And last but not least - we had a date night! It was great! We aren't good about making this a priority, but we are going to try harder this year. we had a blast and I love laughing with my hubby!

Can't believe the first month of the year is over! February is rolling in ready or not!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we had downtime during the day. Corbin and Avelyn had both been fighting off temps/sickness.
That evening we hosted Christmas with my mom's dad's side of the family.

After everyone left we did gifts with just our family (and my brother watched because he was spending the night!)
Annual Christmas pj picture :)

I got my girls cabbage patch dolls (that come with adoption papers-
So special!). Brings back memories bc my favorite dolls were cabbage patch dolls. They LOVE them and play with them more than any doll before!

Brycen and I stayed up late (Ryan had to go into work) playing Santa and putting together the littles presents from "Santa" for Christmas morning. It makes me sad my kids are getting so big, but sometimes it is really nice and I appreciated his help so much!

I'm sure he hopes his dad won't have to work next Christmas Eve night because I am Not a patient toy maker and get quite frustrated! Haha! I love Christmas Eve!

Knepp Christmas

The Sunday before Chistmas we went to have Christmas with Ryan's family. We had lunch and the opened gifts. The kids all love playing together and it was a nice afternoon just being together.
Daegan and Mya - they are 2 months apart.

B and Hailey are 10 mo apart.
Apparently I was too busy hanging out to take many pictures!

Random December

Here are a few other things that happened in December.
The kids had a birthday party for Jesus at church during children's church. They loved this! So thankful for Mrs.Jo who put it on (Brycen's fifth grade teacher).
The littles and I had lunch with Mel and Deena and my mom for my mom's birthday. Mel was babysitting baby Caroline- my littles were LOVING that! They "helped" feed her and keep her entertained!
Some of the boys before their first basketball game. It was a morning game at PES vs Otwell. So much fun! Ryan is helping coach the basketball team and I got roped into helping with the cheerleaders. I said I would never coach cheer again- never say never I guess!
Doing the lineup announcement. It is so funny to watch the boys chest bump and high five each other. They won their game 26-4.
The last Friday of school before Christmas break they had class parties and ugly sweater day. I can't tell you how thrilled my kids were that I participated in ugly sweater day! Haha!
B and Kennedy at their party (I'm their room coordinator so I didn't get many pictures bc I was busy!).
This was party day too- we were leaving and I grabbed a quick pic of D and Sadie.

Apparently I have been getting lots of pics of Kenken and B! She came home with us after the little sisters ballgame that Saturday so she wouldn't have to go to her big sister's game. :) she is a joy to have around and all my littles love her too! So thankful for their sweet friendship.

IP&L Kids Christmas Parties

Dec 12th the littles had Ryan's work Christmas Party. His company puts on an amazing party for the littles 0-10 and then the "teens" get a bowling party which was the next day.

We got there and had breakfast (donuts and fruit etc). Then there was a magician there to put on a show for the kids. They LOVED that! Some of our best friends, Ryan and Chelsey and their boys were there too bc Ryan H. Works at the same place. We sat with them so the parents had a little catch up while they had their magic show.
It is always weird to be missing a kid!
The kids got to sit on santa's lap and then they give each kid a (nice!) gift!
Corbin and his friend Ellie

The next day was B's teen party. Ryan and I were able to take him together and it was really weird to be with just him. Eleven year olds are so easy! Lol
This is the only picture I got. He was off to be with friends- bowling and playing arcade games. They served pizza and soft drinks. It was like a little date for Ryan and I. We got to visit with more friends and just hang out for a few hours. They didn't make the big kids sit on Santa, but they still got a nice gift (Walmart gift cards)!

We are so thankful for Ryan's job which provides for our family and for a company which is so family friendly.
