Jesus gives us... pee?!
Last night Brycen could not fall asleep, it seems to be a pattern w/ him this week. We did the whole usual bedtime routine, take allergy medicine, brush teeth, go potty, pray, hugs and kisses... Well about 10 min. later Brycen says he needs to go to the bathroom again. Off he goes, and sure enough he went again. This happened 2 more times in the next 30 minutes (w/ him also wanting a drink, his back rubbed, and several other things he could think of!). The last time he got up to go potty I asked him why he had to potty so much tonight (like if it hurt or anything like that, didn't want him to have some sort of infection...) He said, "Because Jesus gave me a lot of pee tonight mommy." :) We sure got a kick out of that! :)

Anniversary :)
Our anniversary was so relaxed yesterday! It was my day off (wonderful!). I took B to pre-school & then went home & did some laundry and picked up some stuff around the house. I went back to pick up B went pre-school was over & took him for a haircut (mostly just needed cleaning up around the edges). We went to McDonalds for lunch. I am not a fan of McDonalds, but Brycen loves it! If ya'll could only hear him say it! I think now he can actually say McDonalds properly, but he has said it his own way for so long it has stuck around our house! He says Mickeldongals.... :) I promise, it's cute! Anyway, after Mickeldongals and our chicken nuggets we went home and played outside (such a beautiful day!). I loved having the windows open all day and the house being comfortable! It took B forever to go down for a nap yesterday, which stressed me out b/c Abby was taking his pictures at five! He finally did go to sleep and took a little nap... Ryan was able to go w/ us to get B's pictures done, and I was glad about that. Abby does such a wonderful job! Usually getting pictures done stress me out and I always think the photographers are mad or snippy w/ Brycen (hey is 3, he doesn't like to sit still!). Abby was GREAT, which I already knew, but it was just relaxing, not stressful! I can't wait to see her finished product! I'm sure they will be adorable! After the pictures we went to Mason's to eat... we were laughing and said we'll probably still be eating there on our 50th wedding anniversary! After Mason's we went by Scoops for some ice cream! YUM! So, nothing too big, or extravagant for our anniversary, but honestly, it was just how I like it! Quiet & relaxing w/ my two favorite boys! Normally Ryan and I go out to eat and to a movie to celebrate (something we don't do too often), but last wk/end was Turkey Trot and this wk/end I'll be gone for my cousins wedding... We decided not to get anything for eachother this year (as in presents) and to put that money to stuff we want to do around the house. Neither of us need or really wanted anything so it worked out!
Oh yes, and last night, I felt the baby! I started feeling Brycen around week 16, and at my last appt. the dr. asked if I had felt any movement yet (i was only 10 weeks!), I thought she was nuts! But she explained that this time I know what to look for and since I'm thinner it makes it easier to feel things so it might be sooner this time. I still kind of thought she was crazy and didn't give it much thought! In the last week around bedtime I thought I was feeling some "flutters", but still thought I was just imagining something! I never said anything or gave it much thought! But last night, it was the baby for sure! It felt like a little fishie swimming in my belly & you could feel it from the outside if you tried hard enough! Ryan got to feel it and so did Brycen! Brycen thought it was just amazing! I'm 13 and 1/2 weeks so I guess it's really only a couple weeks before I felt Brycen, it just seems a lot earlier! This pregnancy (after the nausea passed) seems to be going so fast! And if anyone has any boy name suggestions, we're open! We still can't decide on a boy name (already have the girl one picked!). I would like to stay w/ the Br theme (the girl name follows this), but Ryan doesn't really care, so all suggestions are welcome :) We can't agree on a name!

Happy Anniversary to My Sweet Hubby!
So this is a day early (better than late right?) But I'm off tomorrow & probably won't get a chance to post this. I just wanted to tell my sweet hubby HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! I want the whole world to know what a great guy I think he is. He is a wonderful provider and he cares for our little family so much. I could not ask for a sweeter husband... I never thought 7 1/2 years ago when I met him in the Barr Reeve parking lot that we would get married! I'm so glad we met that night! God really knows what He is doing :) I am so thankful that he has blessed me with Ryan and all his wonderful qualities. He can always make me smile, he sure knows how to make me feel good about myself, and most of all he is the best daddy in the world! While he was away at college we had our ups and downs and I worried way too much, but you know what, in the end it only made our relationship stronger. I know w/out a doubt that I trust him w/ mine and the kids' (yes both of them already!) lives. He thinks I'm beautiful even w/ my hair in a ponytail and no make up and he never hesitates to let me know it (I disagree, but hey it's still nice to hear!). He makes me feel warm and protected and so loved. So, pooky (okay he might kill me for using that!) I LOVE YOU to the stars and back times infinity. Thank you for all you do and for being the best husband and daddy that we could ask for.

our weekend :)
Friday night we went to the camper. I was loving the fall weather so much I just wanted to put on jeans and a sweatshirt and be outside! We went to Montgomery to the camper and ate supper w/ Ryan's family. We rode around in the golf cart for awhile & then went to Dinky's, lol. I wish I would of had my camera along! Some of our friends from Ky. were up at Dinky's buying some animals so we thought we'd go visit since we were so close. Ryan grew up going to Dinky's b/c his uncle used to own it. His friends and cousins and him would play there every weekend when he was a lot younger! When we were dating we would go there some. I guess it's a very hick thing to do, but I love it! Anyway, I knew Brycen would get a kick out of the animals (i promise, that boy will probably be a farmer some day!). All he wants to do is live on a farm! While we were there watching the animal auctions Brycen was standing by the fence and the man brought the calves over and let them suck on Brycen's fingers! He thought that was just the coolest thing! I was worried we might be going home w/ a cow! haha! If it was up to B we would of for sure! We also got to see some family of Ryan's that we don't see too often, being that they are Amish. Ryan used to work w/ his cousin (2nd cousin) all through high school and it's always a treat to see him, and his four little ones now! Brycen fit right in w/ his cousins, not even noticing that they look a little different than he does (him w/ his cowboy boots on, as usual!). Brycen is so friendly, with everyone, sometimes this worries me, b/c I think he might just go off w/ anyone, he just loves people! He struck up a conversation w/ an oldddd Amish man (i promise, the guy had to be like 100!). It was the cutest thing, Brycen and him were just chatting away! Come to find out, he is Ryan's grandpa's first cousin :) small world. Afterward, Brycen got to go in w/ some pigs and some of the calves and he was just soo excited about it! I def. think we'll have to take him back, cheap entertainment :)
Saturday someone was supposed to come look at our house (which is for sale, any buyers??!!). The guy stopped by Friday when Ryan was outside and asked if he could come back on Saturday at 1pm. I rushed around Saturday morning getting everything ready and trying to get our camping stuff together too and then the guy didn't show up!! Ugh, that's so frustrating to me, he could of at least called! Anyway, we got our stuff done around the house that morning and Ryan mowed. We got Brycen down for a nap (he was so excited about camping, it was a little hard for him to get to sleep!). I made some Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars (YUM!) to take to the camper and got the rest of our stuff packed. When Brycen got up from his nap we left right away. We got there and went up to Turkey Trot to let B watch the truck pulls. He LOVED it! He kept saying "This is SOOO cool!" I thought it might be a little loud for him and I kept asking him, but he said it wasn't! I think he was afraid we might make him leave! lol. After the pulls we went back to the camper & Sonya (my sister in law) and Marilyn (my mother in law) and I took the kids up to get a bracelet and ride rides. They rode until supper time (i was soo hungry!). Brycen also walked right up to a police officer and said, "hi, i like police officers!" lol, the officer got a kick out of that! I tell you, he just isn't shy (unless he wants to pretend to be!). We went back and had supper and then the kids were ready for more rides! We met up w/ Rich & Melissa & their boys and Brycen was excited to have Isaac to ride with! Rich & Ryan left us girls up there w/ the boys and went back to the camper. We let the boys ride some more and then they won their "fire guns" (i'll post a picture). My two dollars at the duck game was worth it! B played w/ that gun all weekend! I think he would of slept w/ it if I let him! After we rode rides we went back over to the Yoder's camper and visited! It was good to get to talk to some people we don't see too often! (abby)! We were there pretty late and then Brycen and I went back to the camper to get some sleep! Ryan stayed to hang out w/ Rich for awhile.
Yesterday morning Ryan got up early (like before daylight!) and went fishing out at his Grandma Knepp's pond w/ Rich. Brycen and I got later, like a couple hours later! He played w/ Jayce and Hailey at the camper and rode his bike. When Ryan & Rich got back we went over to the Yoder's camper and fixed a late breakfast (i can't say brunch, b/c ryan does not like that word for some reason!) haha. It was sooo good! After we were done cleaning up we went back over and got our stuff together to go home. We got home about 1pm. I was sooo tired! We all got showers and cleaned up and then took a nap! It felt sooo good! I got up and fixed stromboli's for an early supper (we were hungry w/ no lunch!). Then we just hung out in the evening. Ryan and I watched "Man of the Year". It was pretty cute.
Brycen was telling them a story (he gets so into it!)
Hailey Brooke & Brycen Hunter playing on the golf cart!
Brycen loved the bunnies and this nice lady let him pet one :)
Brycen & Isaac riding the motorcyles (see the "fire gun")
Isaac & Brycen riding on the swings

Turkey Trot & Camping
Well, the big weekend has come! What weekend?? Turkey Trot! And I am loving this fall like weather to go along with it! I have been yearning for fall for probably three weeks now! My poor husband is probably tired of hearing me say, "I'm so ready for fall!". I am though! Ryan & I have gone to TT every year since we started dating (back in 2001?!) I can't believe it's really been that long ago! I think I used to like to go so much b/c everyone got to see me w/ my hottie :) haha! I'm j/k... well sort of! I was so young & pretty jealous b/c Ryan and all his friends would be camping, and of course there was no way my parents were going to let me camp w/ my boyfriend! Especially not at 15 when we started dating! lol. The weekend we got married Sept. 10, 2005... Guess what that was?? Turkey Trot weekend! We did not plan in that way, it just happened. It was kind of neat though! All of our friends and family were at TT the weekend of our wedding, a place where Ryan and I already had so many fun memories! Since being married and having Brycen we haven't gone as much (like as in every day) anymore, but we still make it there each year! Ryan's parents have the camper at the camp ground and it's so fun to camp. Last year we didn't get to camp during TT and it was sad :( But this year we are! We are going to the camper, just to visit tonight, but staying all night tomorrow night! Brycen is pumped about camping, he loves playing w/ his cousins and friends at the camp ground. I'm more excited b/c of this weather! Ryan just doesn't get too excited about things? haha! Hopefully I will have pictures from the weekend! Hope everyone has a good one!

He Makes His Daddy Proud!

This is Brycen with the gun Ryan surprised him with a couple weeks ago. Ryan and his grandpa Knepp made the gun when Ryan was about 4 or 5 (close to B's age!). Ryan refinished it and made it look brand new again and surprised B with it! Brycen was sooo excited! He loves guns and he just couldn't believe that this one used to be Daddy's. What a neat thing to pass down :)

They were watching a hunting show and of course Brycen was shooting the animals right along with them! It was cute, once after a guy shot a deer he started getting excited and talking louder and Brycen said, "daddy, he can't be a hunter he's not being quiet, he's going to scare them off!" Ryan had to explain that it was okay to talk once you had already shot it! :) I'm pretty sure that made RYan proud though :)
I think Brycen is going to live up to his name- Brycen Hunter.

Eleven weeks and 3 days and the weekend....

way too close up for my liking :)
*on to the good news though- w/ getting fatter, comes WEEK TWELVE!! Yes, that's right, I'm 12 wks and 1 day now! That dreaded first tri-mester is almost over :) I'm so excited! I am feeling much better nausea wise and I'm ready for this exhaustion to give me a break for a few weeks!
Friday night we went out to eat in town for my grandpa's birthday! Two of his brothers (uncle Dan and uncle Herman, who lives in Bloomington) were able to be at the celebration! It was a good time. We went home and I was so tired, I pretty much went to bed right away.
Saturday morning I got up and B & I went to WalMart... Well first we went into Petersburg to get some doughnuts for breakfast before we went... big mistake for me. I know I shouldn't eat sugar in the morning before having anything else, but I guess I wasn't thinking. I got about half way through WalMart and started feeling lightheaded... I thought I was going to pass-out right there w/ Brycen in the cart, that would not of been good. We had a bag of cheese puffs that we were buying in the cart so I hurried and opened them and what seemed at the time like half the bag, but I started feeling better right away. I'm sure I was a sight, but at the time I didn't care I just did not want to pass out! Anyway- we got through the rest of our WalMart trip and then took Taco Bell (YUM!) home for lunch for us and Ryan. Brycen and I had a picnic out on the porch (basically b/c I'm really gaggy at any bad smell and for some reason I could smell something in the kitchen that was making me gag!) Brycen liked having the picnic outside and it was still early enough that it wasn't scorching yet. Saturday evening we went to the Labor Day Festival in Petersburg and Brycen got a wristband and rode and rode and rode so many rides! We got our money worth for sure! We met some friends (Clint, Vanessa, and their little guy Tyler) there and it was a nice evening. I didn't take my purse in and so I didn't have my camera. I'm more than a little disappointed about that! I'm doing horrible about taking pictures lately.
Sunday we went to church (at Berea). Our friends Rich and Melissa met us in the parking lot, so we could sit w/ them and stuff. I didn't feel nearly as dumb as I thought I was going to! I thought I might have a panic attack on the way there. Ryan thought I was just being ignorant, but seriously! Once I got there it was fine! Brycen just went off to class w/ Isaac when it was time and never looked back. After Sunday School class Isaac and B's teacher brought out their stuff and she said to me, "He sure isn't bashful is he?!" Oh dear me, what is that supposed to mean!!!??? lol... No, he normally isn't, and I can only begin to imagine the stories he told them! haha. I probably don't want to know! I'm just glad he had fun and enjoyed himself. He was really happy about it and said he liked "Isaac's church" lol. Mommy & Daddy liked Isaac's church too :) After church we went to Ryan's parents for dinner. It was good, as always! Afterwards, we went home and the boys took a nap, while I hit up a yard sale! There is this lady I know and she has FOUR little boys and has a yard sale every fall, I loveee going to it! I got some great bargins :) I know Brycen always has way too many clothes b/c I buy for him, my mom is always buying him clothes, and then I go to this yard sale and buy way too much! But I think it's fun :) Ryan doesn't complain toooo awful much! haha. We went to my parents for supper Sunday evening. We actually just ordered pizza, but it was sooo good!
Yesterday, Ryan went to work for awhile in the morning (their computer had something wrong w/ it so he went in to try and get it fixed). While he was gone I got so much done around the house. It was in bad need of it after not being home much over the weekend. I was SO glad for the extra day off. Brycen really likes to help pick up, he gets so into it (well when he thinks it is his idea! when it's my idea he isn't so into it!) haha! Ryan got home about 1:30pm and we all just hung out for the afternoon. The boys took naps again and I did more laundry. I was really tired but just couldn't get a nap in for some reason! We went to my parents again last night for supper. My grandma made a casserole she hadn't made since I was a little girl, and it was YUMMY! We didn't stay too long b/c I was exhausted and Brycen needed a bath and to get in bed early b/c he has pre-school today.
