Opening Day 2011

Saturday was our Little League opening day! Usually, every year for as far back as I can remember it rains on opening day... this year it would not of been a surprise to have rain due to the floods (literally) we've been having! BUT God is Good and we had a gorgeous sunshiney and warm day (Let me say that He still would of been good even if it did rain, but I'm just so thankful he opened up the sky and let us have some sunshine!). Anyway, sorry I got a little off track!

Our little league parade started at 11am. Then opening ceremony. Have I mentioned I love tradition?! I do. I love standing there thinking how none of this has really changed in the past 20 years since I started playing on those very same fields! I love my kids are getting those same experiences that I cherish the memories of! We were the third game after opening ceremonies. The bad part of opening day is you never know what time you will be playing since there aren't set times for the games!

We grabbed some lunch and Corbin took a quick (too quick!) nap and we chatted with people around the ball field before our game began. I didn't get to see too much of the game (due to the little one only having a ten minute nap!)... He was a wild little thing! He did hang on to the fence and yell "DADDDAAAA and BUBBBBBBBAAAAA" shaking the fence while daddy and bubby were out on the field! It was too cute :)

Ryan and B walking in the parade :)

B loves having his daddy coach!
(Another tradition, since my dad was always my coach!).
Corbin Fisher and Jessa at opening ceremony.
His face is crackin' me up!

B and Mabes

*best friends*

Both are number 8!!

Ty man and B :)
Best friends like their mommas!

Sitting in his chair acting crazy!

Don't let this fool ya, he sat for aprx. 1 minute! lol

We're supposed to have another game tomorrow evening, but I don't see that happening!

Our school is out today due to flooding over most of our main highways and tons of our county roads. It's crazy! B will now be missing the last four days of school since that will make us go until June 7th and we leave on vacation June 2nd! I don't know how they will go tomorrow either because we're supposed to get two more inches today! Yikes!

Two Boys In A Tub :)

Corbin & Brycen

My boys are ALWAYS dirty... one reason is b/c they are boys and reason number two is because we live in a pit of mud right now! Thankfully they both LOVE bath time! Sometimes I wonder how clean they are getting with all the mud on the bottom of the tub when I drain the water! haha!

Easter Morning

I broke my Easter stuff up into different posts because I am doing them as I get a few minutes. Blogger has been awful about downloading my pictures from the computer lately.

I had a pictures of all the boys baskets out the night before and somehow it got deleted off my camera and so this is them getting to the baskets before I could get a picture!
This face cracks me up!

All he wanted were some new mud boots... momma thought he needed a different pair, but ALL he talked about was this pair... what's a momma to do?! :)

Corbin found yogurt in his basket :)

He just looks so big!

Everyone (including mommy and daddy) got new toothbrushes (B wants a new one everytime we go to the store, lol). Corbin just chews on his and so B was "brushing" his teeth for him!

Who knows!?

Lately, everytime we go to the store B wants jelly beans. Jelly beans make me gag. The smell of jelly beans make me gag and so I kept saying no... but I did put a whole bag in his Easter basket- which made him super happy :)

My sweet boys dressed up and ready to go to church in our Easter best!

Love how C is always watching B!

Sweet Brothers!

Love these boys!

Trying to get a family picture with the self timer... Corbin didn't want to cooperate!

This was as good as it got!

I love these three SO much!

Easter Lunch

After church we went to Ryan's parent's house for lunch.

B with his basket from Phil & Marilyn (I didn't get a picture of C with his b/c Ryan dug into it, lol)
Brothers!

Ryan gave Corbin a bite of cotten candy- what a mess!

His fat fat little feet!!

Mya pushed Corbin around in this doll stroller- it was so funny!

Corbin got MAD when I got him out!

Hunting eggs for the first time!

Putting an egg in the basket!!

He did really well... he just wanted to take them out and put them in over and over again :)

B hunting eggs!

My handsome little man!

Such a goober!

Just Because He's Cute

Seriously, I can't resist this sweet face :)
Loving on George (a Curious George stuffed animal that he took from B and carries around the house everywhere) :)

Showing me where George's eyes are :)

He loves this silly monkey :)

And this is why he has bruises on his face constantly- he climbs ON, IN, and UNDER everything he can think of and when he's stuck he just keeps trying and trying... I think right now he has three bruises on his face! Yikes! He's def. all boy!

Easter Evening

We go to my parents for supper on Easter. My mom's dad and step mom come as well as my Uncle and his two girls. His youngest, Ashlyn, and B are in the same grade and get along great- they play so well together... unfortunately I put up the camera when they got there and didn't get any pictures of the kiddos playing! My boys had an egg hunt before the company got there since we had to do it inside and got their Easter baskets from my parents.

A lot of people that know my dad says Corbin looks like him as a baby... I don't know if I see it in baby pictures or not. lol I think people see what they want to see!
My boys LOVE Papaw Rick... and with good reason :)
Brycen tells everyone that his Papaw can do ANYTHING! :)
I love this picture!

Corbin hunting eggs- more like "put eggs in basket, dump eggs, put eggs back in" :)

B hunting eggs
(my mom color codes by child- Brycen found green, Corbin found orange, etc)

Corbin with his Easter basket

B with his

Brycen was most excited with a new kite!

And Corbin was super excited to find a cup (it's the first thing he went for, go figure!) :)

checking out their stuff (notice Corbin has NOT put down the cup and it was empty!). :)

B's Class Easter Party

Last Thursday was B's class Easter party. He had been looking forward to it all week! We were on a 2 hour delay due to the power outage/water over roads so it was an extra short day for him!

They had an egg hunt first, here he is opening some of his eggs.

Waiting in line with some friends for the balloon pop game.

Xavier, Brycen, and Ryan

Doing the balloon pop game- it was hilarious!
Braden & Brycen

Some of the kids waiting on the others to finish.

Doing the bunny hop races (sack races). Brycen's bunny ears had fallen off at this point, but I love the look of joy on his face!

It was a great party and I'm so grateful that even though I am a working momma I have a job and a boss that are super understanding and flexible and I'm able to attend every class party, field trip, etc.!

They had ice cream Sunday's for their snack and they were a hit! I didn't get any pictures though I was too busy putting on more sprinkles :)

Brycen has a GREAT class and the BEST teacher- I'm so thankful!
