Corbin Fisher is 18 months old today! One and a half years?! My word! I can't believe it! 18 months seems like a big milestone and in the past couple weeks he does seem to have grown up A LOT!
He is still in size 4 diapers... mainly 18-24 mo. clothes. size 5- 5 1/2 on shoes (not sure on height/weight- we go next week for his check up).
He is veryyy independent and going up and down the stairs by himself (making me a nervous wreck) very well now. He is SUCH a climber... if he wants on something he finds a way. I found him IN the bathroom sink the other day! He is giving me lots of gray hair!
He is really starting to talk/ say a lot more words in the past few weeks! He is saying a couple three word phrases like "here ya go" (while handing us something) and "where is it?" (while shrugging his shoulders). He will repeat most of what we ask him to say. I was starting to track how many words he said last month and I think it was about 25... it has sky rocketed since then which makes me happy b/c I love hearing his sweet little voice. At times he doesn't say much and then other times he'll jabber on and on and on for two hours at a time! lol.
He knows and will point at his belly, tongue/mouth, eye, and feet. Sometimes he will do his nose, but will always point at my nose (Ryan says it is because it's big!) lol!
He will moo like a cow and bark like a dog. He also barks at our cat lol. He laughs every time I say an animal noise, but he won't make any others besides those two!
He points at EVERYTHING and says, "wat dat, wat dat, wat dat???" lol!
He lovesss to throw things away. If we give him something and say go throw it away he runs over to the cabinet and pulls out the trash and throws it away :) So far he hasn't thrown anything of importance away! haha!
He is big on brushing his teeth and loves to stand on the stool WITH B and brush his teeth. He's also really good about letting me brush them now.
His favorite toys are Brycen's imaginex dinosaur that roars very loudly and Brycen's little toy (matchbox?) cars. They line them up on the outside of my big tub and let them go lol.
He has a great appetite and will pretty much eat anything we give him. We know he is full when he starts spitting his food out. He is doing a great job at feeding himself. Last night I made pasta bake and he fed himself the whole bowl with a fork (he does better with a fork then a spoon). He also thinks he should climb out of his booster seat and be the centerpiece of the table. UGH!! That is a real challenge right now- keeping him off the table! He gets a cup of milk in the morning and a cup at night before bed and otherwise he is only drinking water. He drinks so much and I was only putting a tiny bit of juice in there, but I stopped and he doesn't seem to notice now. He can now reach the ice/water on the freezer so we have to make sure it's kept on lock- we have had more than few messes to clean up!
He loves to jump out and say BOO! Or chase people or be chased thro ugh the house. It's hilarious!
He has been soooo much happier since all his teeth are in. He never fails to make us laugh. We are so blessed and can't imagine life with out our crazy little man!
