On Thanksgiving we got up and Ryan made us all breakfast while I got the boys and myself ready for the day. What a guy! I think he was sucking up b/c he had been hunting the past two weekends and was going that wk/end too (when he goes he goes to the cabin and stays all wk/end) soooo he was trying to suck up a bit :) haha!
We went to Ryan's parents house mid-morning and enjoyed snacking and chatting while the kids played. Sonya made ME a cheeseball ;) lol, well I guess she made it for everyone, but I think I ate most of it. YUM!
Miss Mya really loves Corbin- it's so sweet! They were playing "tea party". Corbin is kind of rough to play tea so it was funny.

That is something I've tackled lately- cutting my boys (all three of them, Ryan included) hair!
I have some learning to do, but they all look okay and we're saving a ton of money! With three boys needing hair cuts once a month that got pretty pricey! Ryan has been telling me for years to just cut his myself, but I was too nervous. When Corbin became a monthly member of the hair cutting club though I realized I better learn fast :) Especially when Ryan said with what we were spending in hair cuts I could buy a new pair of shoes each month! Lol, I won't do that obviously, but it put things in perspective!
After lunch at his parents we went home and put up our main Christmas tree. Corbin napped the whole time so it was fun to see his face when we he woke up and there was a tree in our living room! lol. He kept saying "tree!!!" and jumping around like the crazy kiddo that he is!
We also put the Brycen's tree in his room. It's a tractor theme and Corbin won't leave it alone! He thinks the tractor ornaments are toys! haha! We put Corbin's up high on his dresser where he cannot reach it, but he doesn't seem too interested in it anyway- just B's tractor one! I'm afraid of what will happen when I put the presents under the big tree. Yikes!
We went to my parents for supper and dessert with my dad's side of the family- the Sims'. I say this every year, but that is my favorite get together. It just reminds me so much of my childhood and I'm glad my kids are having that same get together continued even though our great grandparents have passed away. We are so close with this side of the family and I always end up laughing so hard I'm in tears- that's the best feeling!

I love that these two are BFF like her daddy Todd and I were (and are!). :)
They are 4 months (to the day) apart and Todd and I are 4 months apart too!
These two have brought so much happiness to our family after a really dark period for all of us!

all the babies love him and he's so good w/ them!
So proud of my boy!
and his smile can just light up a room!

So thankful for him!
He is a great Uncle to the boys and they just adore him!
B and his Uncle Joe!
the great-great grandkids on the Sims' side.
Corbin (21 months), Brycen (6 almost 7 years), Kaydee Mae (2 yrs), and Lucas (14 months)

cute pics!! What a hubby! I don't think my hubs can find the forks by himself?:) Glad you guys had a good holiday--and I agree this year has flown by!
I LOVE the picture of B and his Uncle Joe - we are lucky that our boys have such amazing uncles in their lives to look up to. I know Max's world revolves around his Uncle Clay, and it seems like B is just as close to his uncle!!
Glad you guys had a great holiday! Thanks for sharing the pics of the boys. Even though I see pics of C growing up, I always think of him as a little baby still, but he isn't really one anymore!
I have cut T's hair in the past, but I see it needs to be cut again badly and I don't want to. Maybe we need a set of clippers. If you can tell in photos, Pete and I are more like in the once a year haircut club :-) Take care!
Great pictures! I am impressed with your hubby. Jarod will cook when he can use the traeger grill.lol
What great celebrations! Those boys sure are cute!
