I have a bunch of random pictures because I've been a bad blogger... oh well! These are from the beginning of April.

I live with boys... messy, muddy boys.

Sometimes I cringe...

I'm quite sure my washer will break one day from all the mud that goes through it.

The policy is- they strip off at the door from the garage before they enter the laundry room (down to their undies)... it still doesn't help b/c they usually have it crusted on them (don't ask me how!).

Corbin SCREAMS like you are killing him when you go inside or when you shut the door and he doesn't get to go outside with you... yikes!

Lots of mud holes... who would walk around them??

Not my boys! lol

I was folding laundry- I left the room to put the laundry away and came back to find them watching tv like this :)

Corbin's favorite place to play :)

His pout face!
I can't get enough of it :)

and his sweet smile :)

He loves this chair that was B's and tries to prop his leg up- which makes me crack up!

He has been walking for quite awhile, but I just got a picture of it a couple weeks ago. Now he runs!

I love how he sits cross legged (indian style) all the time!

And he loves his cup... he doesn't care what's in it (so most of the time it's water). :)

Pretending to start his chain saw like daddy :)

One day I came home from work and this gorgeous tree had bloomed right outside our front windows :)

B's fave dirt pile.

King of the mountain :)
I think he was actually playing "Rescue"... he rescues tigers ya know?!

He wanted me to take a picture of him "rolling down the mountain" :)

Boys will be boys... :)

We have just been busy around the house... we have all our dirt work left to do, but that's not going to happen until it dries up! Wowzers have we had a lot of rain!

Still lots of little jobs inside as well, but we're knocking those out slowly, but surely.

Just a little update...

We are all moved in! Well, I guess I should clarify that sentence. We live at our new house! We still have random unpacked boxes and a basement full of stuff for a yard sale and pictures that need hung, etc... lots of work to do outside so that we can have a yard full of something besides mud, BUT we sleep, eat, take baths, and enjoy our family of four at our house.... which is becoming our home :) I'm soooo happy I can't even explain. It feels like all our hard work is paying off! I thought we'd NEVER live here... it seemed like a far off dream. I have to say that I was sooo happy Sunday/Monday just being there and putting stuff away that I would tear up! It has been a longggg winter and now we have our new house and beautiful weather to enjoy it in! I took off Monday, Tues, and then off on Wed. to unpack.... I got a lot done, but the boys both got sick with strep throat and we had to run to the dr. and do all the things that comes with two boys with strep throat so that cut into my game plan a bit! Brycen had to miss school Tues.- he pretty much slept the entire day b/c he was feeling so awful. He also had to miss school Wed. b/c he hadn't been fever free for 24 hours (still had one at bedtime the night before). BUT he was feeling much better Wed. and was more like himself. Thankfully it was a nice afternoon and he got to play outside. He was still tired I think b/c I caught him taking breaks laying on the couch. I hate that he was sick, but I was glad it happened on days I had already taken off- it was nice to spend that time with him. Mr. Corbin has decided to be a climbing fool. I was up on a small ladder putting stuff away in some high cabinets and I look down and Corbin was climbed two steps up and working on the third! Yikes! He dumps the laundry and climbs in the basket, he would climb in the boxes I was unpacking, is trying to climb on the couch, chairs, lockers, etc. He will also grab a hold of anything above his head (like the table) and hang like a little monkey! This morning when I dropped him off the babysitter called him "the little dare devil" :) That describes him very well! He seems to have no fear. I can't believe he will be 14 months tomorrow! Baseball season is gearing up- we've had two practices so far. Brycen loves it! Ryan is coaching again so they are enjoying that a lot. The first week C and I had to sit in the van to watch practice b/c it was so chilly... I'm very thankful it's warming up! I can't believe there's only a little over seven weeks left of school and that means just a little over seven weeks until our vacation as well! B is marking the days off on his calendar! Well, that's just a little update on us- hope everyone else is doing well :)

Random Pictures

First evening we painted
B at his spring program
Corbin at B's spring program (eating as usual, lol)

Their favorite game :)

Trying to get a picture with both boys- haha!

Momma's sweet baby boy <3

Playing with a box that we need to be packing in, haha! There are boxes all over the rental house, but only a few are packed! Yikes!

Mr. Attitude!

Can't believe my "baby" is 13 1/2 months old. Yikes!
This picture is kinda weird looking, but it shows how tall he is.
Best Friends.
The sight of my boys playing together never gets old!
(no matter how loud and rough they are- they are def. giving me gray hair!)

Whiny Me.

I have so many pictures that I haven't even uploaded onto the computer... yikes. I'm so far behind I've pretty much fallen off the band wagon. Our internet is down at home and we don't even have time to worry about it and quite honestly- I kind of like it being gone. We'll fix it when we get moved just for the convenience, but right now it's not bothering me to have it gone at all.

So we were supposed to be moving this coming weekend, but then a lot of things went wrong this weekend while working at the house and our move in date is getting pushed back another week. I cried. Seriously, that's crazy and silly I know given some people have no houses to live in or even food to eat and here I cry b/c I have to push our move in date back another week... but I'm ready to have our normal lives back.

When you are building a house all yourselves it consumes you. We can't just pick up and decide to go out to eat or go to the movies or go do anything. I'm not even a person who likes to go places a lot, but when the option is taken from me I'm beginning to not like it at all! We are almost there though and I just want to be DONE! Even after we move in we'll have a ton to do with the outside (dirt piles still to move, a yard to plant, etc etc) and things to do in the basement (put up walls for the play room etc), but at least we'll be there. There won't be any hauling the boys stuff back and forth, me rushing around to get supper or eating McDonald's or lunch meat every night. We're all tired. We stay way to late every night trying to finish things up and we're tired... especially Ryan. I feel so bad for him, but there are times I have to go to the rental to give the boys a bath and get them in bed and I can't always be there to help and then I feel guilty about that! We were trying to get out by the end of March so we could save our rent/bill money to put towards more house stuff, but it looks like we'll be moving that first weekend of April now... the people we are renting from are so gracious that they aren't even making us pay- whew! I told Ryan if we were going to have to pay for another month only for 2 days I was moving in the new house- toilet or no toilet! haha!

So I can't believe this whole blog is pretty much about the house, but really that is what consumes our lives right now.

It stinks that I'm working this week when I was supposed to be off with B on his spring break- but my co-workers son decided last minute to come home from TX this week so I told her to go ahead and take off. Since my mom is off she can keep B. Today they took me to lunch and they are working in the yard- B loves to help :) Tomorrow they are going to do some fun stuff in Evansville and go see my brother and take him to lunch. I'm off on Wednesday and then Thursday he is going to Chuck E Cheese with a friend for his birthday so B is having a good spring break even with out me. This beautiful weather makes it hard for me to come back inside though after leaving for lunch.

I'm quite positive this post is whiny and I'm quite okay with that actually- it's how I feel. You can ask my husband :) I'm normally a very positive person, but sometimes (especially this long winter) I get down too. The weather over the weekend definitely brightened my mood though and I keep telling myself just two more weeks... I have a lot of packing at the rental house left to do anyway....

Almost Home

The floors are going down!
Hoping and Praying to move in next weekend.
We're going to be rushing and crazy, but we're going to do it!
It's fun to see everything come together!
Ryan said they will probably start bringing our cabinets on Tuesday!
Whoot Whoot!
I can't wait to make our house a home :)

B'ism's

Brycen- he just cracks me up. I mean literally makes me laugh ALL.THE.TIME. Even when I'm so mad at him for something he's done he can always make me laugh- which can actually be quite frustrating, but ya know- it's a great personality trait to have- to be able to make people smile.

Thursday evening B was talking about his new girlfriend Kiana- I told him he needs to not have so many girlfriends and quit worrying about girls and that when he's old enough God will show him the right person for him and they'll get married and he looked at me...dead serious... and says, "Mom, she's the one, she's the one for me, I know it. I'm going to marry this girl."

I'm going to have gray hair soon if he keeps liking girls this much!

Saturday night we were on our way home from Menards and he said, "Mom, you just gotta take a couple breaths and blow them out slowly because it will be okay. I just have to use the saw because I gotta be a man like daddy and Papaw Rick."

(At Menards he had pointed at a saw and told me Papaw Rick had let him use one- I honestly wasn't paying much attention b/c we were trying to get stuff picked out . I think I said something along the lines of "Oh, he did? Okay." It cracked me up that half way home he was still thinking about it and that he KNOWS him growing up gets to momma!

This morning he told me while he was working out at the house he was climbing on a dirt pile in his socks and Mamaw Reece told him to get his boots back on and she said a cuss word! I couldn't believe this b/c my mom rarely says a bad word and especially wouldn't at him! I asked him what she said and he said that she said

"Oh my gosh, Brycen put your boots back on!".

I had to laugh... I told him before that oh my gosh doesn't sound very nice coming out of our mouths but I don't think I ever told him it was a bad word!

Just wanted to write some of these down. I think his facial expressions and voice inflections make them even funnier :)

13 Months

This little man, Mr. C, turned 13 months yesterday. Wowzers. This past month he has just seemed so much older... I think the fact that he's felt a lot better than he did last month has a lot to do with that.

Just some stuff Momma wants to remember about Corbin Fisher at 13 months...

*Probably hasn't gained much, if any weight since his 12 mo. appt... so I'd say around 23 lbs. Has gotten longer b/c his 12 month pants are all too short and 12-18 are getting that way. We're working our way into being mostly 18 and 18-24 month clothes.

*He's really slimmed down, but his hands and feet are still super chubby. Love them! I squeeze and kiss 'em all the time!

*He has such a temper. I think part of it is that he knows what he wants he can't quite communicate that yet so it causes some frustration on his part... He throws fits. Like Major Fits, Rolling around on the floor fits. I've never seen anything like it. It's mainly when he's tired, but yikes!!

*He's not walking by himself, but taking steps (about 3 at a time). He will walk perfectly balanced as long as you hold his hand. I think he could do it, but isn't quite brave enough for one and for two he can go so much faster and keep up with everyone crawling and so after his 3 steps don't get him very far he drops to his knees (so carefully, it's adorable) and takes off crawling! He crawls sooo fast and doesn't watch where he is going. We laugh at him all the time b/c he seriously runs into furniture, people, and walls!

*He gives the best kisses. I always make a pop with my lips when I kiss him and now he does that! It's precious!

*Uh-Oh is his new favorite word! Yesterday he started saying "cheese" when I got a piece of cheese out for him for a snack. It's just amazing to me to watch his vocabulary develop. He understands so much too. Every morning before I get C out at the sitter I tell B to tell his brother Bye and He loves Him and C always looks at B and waits and then smiles really big after B says it then gives me his arms to get him out. Seriously melts my heart. I swear a few times he has said "love you".... Ryan, B, and I all think we've heard it, but maybe not?! I don't know.

*He stands at the glass door and bangs on it to go out. At the new house the windows are really low to the ground and he loves that! When we're out there he just looks and looks and gets so excited!

*He will hardly let us feed him anything. He wants to self feed (with his hands) everything! When we try to spoon feed him things like applesauce or yogurt now he throws a fit and hits the spoon away causing a big mess b/c he wants to do it himself, but hasn't quite figured out the spoon/fork concept yet!! Any ideas on that one?

*B's cow chair has no become C's cow chair! He loves that thing. He is always sitting in it, climbing on/over it, etc. He looks so big sitting in it drinking out of a sippy. Just melts my heart!

*He got a new big boy hair cut on his 13th month bday. And boy does it make him look old. Brycen said, "Yah, he looks like an olddddd man"! bahaha!

*He loves to get his brush out and carry it around. I tell him to brush his hair and he'll put it up on his head and move his hand around. Adorable.

*The boy is ALWAYS thirsty... he can down a cup of milk/water/juice (he doesn't care what it is) in about a minute flat. I always have to have a drink too so I guess it's normal? Hopefully...

*Still has great sleeping habits. Most of the time at the sitter he takes a SHORT morning nap early on and then a longer afternoon nap. At home he gets up about 7am (because we have to take B to school on Weds). Goes back down for a nap around 9ish and sleeps until 10:30-11am. Usually goes back down for a nap around 1:00-1:30 and sleeps until 3 when we have to go pick up B. Still goes to sleep most nights around 7am. Sometimes on the weekends he will sleep in later 8-8:30 and then he doesn't go to bed until around 8-8:30. You can tell when he needs to be put in his bed b/c he gets grouchy and nothing makes him happy. Lay him in his bed and off to sleep he goes.

*Sleeps all slumped over like sitting, but layed over frontwards. I used to try to move him out of that position, but he'd get right back in it. Looks very uncomfortable!

*He has crazy hair. Even now that it's cut it's still "fluffy" b/c it's so fine and soft.

I just can't express how much we love our baby boy. Although, I get sad every time another month passes I am grateful for each day with him. He is getting more fun every day and I look forward to each day God blesses us with and watching him grow and change and his personality develop even more.
