nosy people
What do you all do about nosy people? Most of the time I'm pretty much an open book. I don't really mind sharing details of my life w/ people, even difficult ones... b/c I feel God gives us experiences so that we may help others here on earth that might be going through similiar difficulties. So, normally "nosy" or otherwise, just curious people don't bother me in the least. There is a girl at my work though that is sooooooo nosy. It has began to drive me crazy! If I'm having a conversation w/ a co-worker she will butt in right in the middle, which obviously means she is eaves-dropping... Or if she hears news about a person, she has to run out and share it w/ everyone that she knows your/whoever's news. I guess w/ the baby this is just making me a little crazier than usual! I don't know how to advert the situation at times though. I feel like I'm on the spot. I don't want to be a smart elec... and I want to be a good Christian example, but I don't want someone else sharing my life w/ others just so she can be "in the know". I do share things w/ other co-workers, and I don't want her to feel "left out" or however that may make her feel, but I also trust those others and know that they don't run off to tell the next 100 people they talk to! I honestly want to say "GET A LIFE and quit talking about mine and everyone else's!" But I also know that's not the response I should have... and feel quite guilty for even thinking that way. Any advice?

Brycen's Dream
Yesterday Ryan picked Brycen up from daycare. This is a rare occurence b/c usually Ryan is working a lot later. He got off early and said he would pick him up for me so that I could go to Wal-Mart by myself (woweee!), I was out of there so fast! I didn't know I could do Wal-Mart that fast! haha! Anyway- I got home and Brycen came running to me with a great big hug and said, "I missed you mommy!" Well that melted my heart of course and kind of made me feel guilty for not taking him... although, I don't think I could of dealt w/ Wal-Mart AND a very energetic three yr. old yesterday at the same time b/c I felt like puking (sorry for that last detail!). Anyway, then Brycen goes on to tell me he had a dream... I was like, oh really... and He said, "Yes, in my dream the baby was out of your belly!" I said, "wow, what was it doing? was it a boy or a girl?" He said, "It was a girl, and it was hitting me and kicking me!" So I said, "What did you do??" He said, "I put it in the high chair and ate it!!" He said this w/ a huge smile and starting laughing. What in the world?? You ate it?? What do you even say to that?! Let's hope our baby doesn't hit or kick Brycen ; )

the pictures...
so my site is supposed to be totally kid friendly, hope these don't offend anyone! i wasn't going to post the belly pictures, but i figured if ya'll have to listen to me gripe and complain and cry and (all the happy emotions too!), then you might as well have to watch the belly grow w/ me too. if you don't like belly pictures, don't look below... btw- the pictures really don't do the baby bump any justice, it's much bigger in person- come see me if you want to see for yourself :)
we have decided to take one each week, so ya'll will be getting a weekly update. i thought it would be fun to see which weeks i "really grow" and which ones you can't really tell too much! (i'm in "bum" clothes in all these pictures b/c they are on my day off (wednesdays) and this is just what i look like on wed.'s haha)! :)

Good News!
I just wanted to let you all know that the appointment on Friday went great! Everything looked very normal and just how it should at this point in the pregnancy. The lady doing the sonogram was so sweet, and realized why I was so nervous, she was great! The heart beat was 127 and she worked and worked until we could hear it instead of just see it! Such a relief for mommy to hear that sweet whooshing sound :). She said that it had probably just started beating in the past 2 days or so and that that heartbeat would raise. The baby still looked like a bean?? lol, I'm not really sure how to describe it. She said w/in the next two weeks it will really start to look more like a baby. All I know is that she told me that precious being inside me looks like it's supposed to and has a healthy heartbeat, that makes me so happy and relieved. I also measured to the exact day of the due date they had given me already. Anyway, this isn't a very eventful post (i'm actually very thankful for that), but I wanted to let you prayer warriors know what's going on! Thanks for listening to me freak out and for all the prayers over the past couple of weeks! Keep those prayers coming! :)

tomorrow...
Hello! Tomorrow I go for my first ultrasound... I'm pretty calm about this for the most part, but I'm having "moments" of terrible anxiety about it. I wasn't going to blog about this... but ya'll and your comments usually help me to feel more "normal", whatever normal is. lol. I'm so scared that I'm going to go and they are going to tell me something is wrong w/ the pregnancy or something like that... I know it's pretty irrational, BUT I just remember the heartache after my m/c and don't want to go through that again. I'm so thankful that for the most part I'm pretty calm about tomorrow, but like I said, I do have my moments... after all, I am human. I'm just not sure I can take any bad news.
For the good news, well not so much fun, but to me it's a sign that my body is doing what it is supposed to! I feel pretty terrible! I am nauseated (no puking, just wish I could at times!). I have terrible migranes (which I get anyway, pregnancy just makes them worse), AND I'm super tired. I know these are signs that my body is doing what it is supposed to, so they actually are a comfort of sorts (not that I like feeling like I could puke @ anytime though, don't get me wrong, I'm not that weird!) haha. It's harder the second time around when you have a three year old that demands your attention and you can't rest when you need to. Ryan and Brycen are both being pretty great about it though... I don't feel like cooking much supper, b/c the smell of food just isn't great for a nauseous person. I'm glad I have a sweet husband that doesn't mind sandwiches :)
ALSO, I am getting a BABY POOCH. Yes, ya'll can say it's in my head or whatever, but I am SO serious! Ryan has noticed, and even the girls at work have noticed. The dr. told me at my last appt. to expect to show sooner, I just didn't realize how soon she meant! Of course if I wear a looser shirt you can't tell, but if I pull my shirt tight or wear a tighter shirt, the baby bump is starting to show, for sure! I am going to look like a haus later on, I'm quite sure! lol. I didn't show AT ALL with Brycen until I was six MONTHS not six WEEKS. lol.
Anyway, enough of my rambling!

Weekend...

all the kiddo's at Ty Ty's 2nd birthday party

Boys will be boys... playing in the dirt w/ sticks (Andrew, Alex, Brycen, and Albert)

I know ya'll don't want to see my getting pudgy tummy, BUT this was too sweet not to share! Brycen decided the baby was hungry and got a spoon and this measuring cup full of water & fed the baby (he put it in my belly button, gross I know) lol. He did this for about 20 min. until he declared that the baby was full! He thought he/she was hungry, how sweet is that?!

My cousin Todd & his wife Kayla came over for a cookout last night, along w/ his parents and sister and my parents and brother & my grandparents. They are also expecting (TWINS!) and she is due exactly 6 weeks before me. Todd & I are only 4 mo. apart so we're excited to be having babies so close together too... We were BEST FRIENDS growing up!

My sweet hubby & I :)

I don't know where he gets this at?! ;)

Enjoying his little pool!

Brycen & Andrew playing @ the splash park for Tyler's 2nd birthday party.

They had a blast!

Brycen telling Trent, "I'm a SUPERHEROOOO!!!" this boy has personality! lol
Sorry I know these aren't all in order... I couldn't get them to post in order UGhH! lol. This dumb blogger doesn't ever like me!

Breaking the "Happy" News!
Well, I know you are all dying to know.... my heart has been torn between being extremely happy and extremely scared and worried. We have decided to share our great news though! I'm Pregnant! I'm about 5 1/2 weeks along. I've already been to the dr. twice for them to check all my hormone levels & everything looks great so far. It's hard to be extremely excited knowing that I had a miscarriage just 5 months ago. The "what if's" all loom above my head. We are already passed the point in my pregnancy of when I had my miscarriage in Feb. That brought us some comfort... plus all my levels coming back extremely good helps too. Ultimately I know that it is up to God, and He already knows the ending to the story of this little precious gift, so there is no need for me to worry about it... Brycen is very very excited! He insists that it's a sister... lol. I hope he isn't too disappointed if it's not! We go to have our first ultrasound next Friday on the 25th! I can't wait to see the little one's heart beat, Lord Willing.
My heart has struggled w/ sharing this news, b/c I know how much it has hurt me to see and hear when others are expecting, no matter that I was truly happy for them, I still hurt for myself at that time. I've done a lot and I mean a lot of praying over this, that I wouldn't contribute to anyone's added heart break... because I've been there.
Anyway- I will keep everyone updated :)
Please be praying for a healthy pregnancy and baby! :)
