Saturday morning we had to be up bright and early to go to my brother's cross country invitational that was also up north. It was only about 30 min. away from where we were staying so it worked out really well! He got sixth place out of seventy runners! I was so proud of him, I cried... yah, he was embarrassed :) The meet was at an elem. school so Brycen had fun playing on the outside toys all morning! After his meet we went and got lunch and then went and got ready for the wedding. Brycen had to be there early so we were pretty rushed. The wedding was short & sweet and afterward Brycen had to stay for pictures. He was the ring bear & he made it up the aisle to the second row & then seen my mom and dove right in the aisle :) Oh well, at least he made it most of the way up! After the wedding we went to the reception & Brycen had a blast playing w/ little cousins he doesn't see too often. We didn't make it home until late Saturday night and we were both beat!

Almost finished! I was sooo proud of him!

My cousin's little boy, Logan and me!
Sunday we slept in (bad kids I know!). And then we had no power all day. Brycen and I did puzzles & played about 50 games of CandyLand! :) We went to my parents for supper b/c they did have power. Luckily ours game back on about 8:30pm so we didn't have to worry about getting ready in the dark Monday morning, thankfully! I needed another day to recooperate from the weekend, Monday morning came too fast!
Monday night Ryan picked up all the limbs in our yard and mowed. Brycen and I went to Wal-Mart and to get groceries while Ryan was mowing. Brycen just HAD to help pick up sticks & limbs, he thought that was so fun! haha.
Tuesday evening we went to Montgomery for our friend Melissa's suprise birthday party! The look on her face was priceless! She thought Ryan and I were coming to help them clean up their yard and pick up limbs and stuff b/c she and I had been texting through out the day and that's what she said they were doing all evening for her birthday! It was so fun surprising her! Plus, Brycen was so excited to get to play w/ Isaac all evening! I didn't get but one picture b/c my batteries went dead (go figure, don't they always?!). We didn't get home until late and I was so tired again, seems to be my theme!
Yesterday was my day off and I got all my cleaning and most of the laundry done in the morning & then had to go to Evansville for my dr's appt. I am now 14 wks and 3 days (as of today). I had gained 2 lbs as of yesterday, feels more like twenty and the heartrate was 165. Baby seems to be doing well and I'm doing good too (besides all this being tired all the time!). I go back on October 14th and we'll find out if it's a boy/girl (well, if he/she decides to cooperate!). I kind of thought it would be fun to do a poll and see how many people think I'm having a boy and how many think I'm having a girl, but I can't figure out how to do the poll thing, so just leave me a comment if you want to w/ what you think we're having! Ryan and Brycen are still set on a girl, and I'm still set on thinking it's a boy! I guess we'll see (hopefully) in a little less then 4 weeks! I'm sure it will fly by. Last night Brycen had practice for homecoming, he is the little boy that is carrying the crown. It's pretty neat b/c he has two cousins and his Uncle Jos' (my brother) in it as well! I just hope he makes it out on the field, last night was interesting to get him out there... I guess we'll see how it goes! Anyway- I think that catches you all up on our lives :)
