Workin' & Playin'
They have spent many hours in the back hoe together already.
I don't know why these were blurry- except he is just a blur of motion :)

on tree vines :)
one of his new favorite past-times!
As you can see, baby boy has been keeping busy with workin' and playin' at the new house!
I'm surprised my washer still works with all the dirt/mud that has been going through it :)

Septic, Electrical, and Porch
Ryan and Brycen filling the septic tank w/ water so it wouldn't float away!
Corbin wanted to see what was going on too!The septic is now completely finished- buried and done! Whoo hoo!
B and my dad in the back hoe digging so we could bury the electrical cable from the road to our house. The cable is now buried and ready to be run in the house. My dad is starting on the electrical in the house this week!
Saturday they poured my porch floor. I have been waiting for that step for awhile! :)
Ryan helping B.
Ryan helping Corbin...Corbin tried to grab the conrete and then tried to eat it! lol
His looks more like a paw print :)

John rolling the design into the conrete :)
It dried a little darker than this and is sooo pretty!

Program, Bday Parties, & Soccer
A couple weeks ago Brycen had his first school program. It was his grandparents day program.

B at his desk after the program. He LOVES her (and so do I!).
Last weekend was the last Saturday of soccer.
Not last weekend, but the weekend before we had two birthday parties for two special little girls to attend.
This is Brycen and his friend Nolan at Jessa Marie's 2nd birthday party. Somehow it is the only picture I managed to take.
Kaydee Mae and her momma opening her presents.
Joey and Brycen in art class at school- his teacher sent this to my mom and she sent it to me- It was too cute not to share.

We love this little miracle girl.
We have been busy with mostly house stuff. We are out there every night pretty much until late. I usually have to bring the boys home and get them ready for bed before Ryan gets home from out there. We have our porch floor poured now (thanks to my brother in law, John!). It looks great... I'll post those pictures in a little bit. They are working on dirt work and electrical right now. We have to go get our siding this week sometime... Ryan and I are both sick right now :( We both started feeling like poo yesterday (Corbin has had a cold and we think we caught it from him). Today I feel like I have been hit by a truck. Brycen is on fall break Friday and Monday and I'm taking off to hang out w/ him so today I am at work... not being productive, but I'm here. Corbin did get his 3rd tooth (1st one on top) on Sunday. I'm hoping for a restful evening, but I am doubting I will get it. I'm so thankful I am off tomorrow. They started a new reading series at school and Brycen is on his 2nd book. He is doing so well! I'm so proud of him. We get report cards this week I believe. They are on a behavior "card system" for their daily behavior. If you get a purple mark that means you have excellent behavior and the teacher notices how good you are and never has to get onto you during the day. Then a sticker means that you were good, but maybe the whole class got in trouble for being too loud in the hall or something. Red means you had to pull one card for whatever offense (i.e. talking too much, not raising your hand, etc). You get one warning then you pull the card. She marks this in the bring home folder each day so you can follow your child's behavior. I love this b/c I don't have to count on B telling me how he did (b/c he never wants to talk about his day!). I'm so proud to say that he has 3 stickers and all the rest purple marks. That really makes me so proud! Now, don't get me wrong- if we were on the same system at home he would NOT be getting purple marks! I think he tries so hard to be good all day at school that he comes home and goes a little wild! I can't believe he is going to be 6 soon... just sounds so grown up!

8 Months
Saturday our baby boy turned eight months old... I don't know where the past eight months have gone (yes, I realize I say that every month when he turns another month older!). I weighed and tried to measure him, but he's so wiggly anymore it was hard to measure. He weighed 20.5 lbs (gained 1 lb since last month) and was 28 1/2 inches long (half in longer). We go next month for his 9 month check up so we'll see how accurate I was this month.
This week he has started flipping himself to his tummy to sleep :( totally freaks me out. He has always hated being on his tummy (and still does when he is awake), but for some reason he wants to sleep on his belly. I flipped him 5 times last night, but obviously that's unreasonable and I'm exhausted today and he just turned himself back over every time... think I could tie him down? lol I'm totally kidding... but it does make me nervous!
He still loves to sit and play and is trying really hard to pull himself up on things, but isn't quite there yet. He has no desire to crawl (I think he could- he just hates being on his belly so he doesn't try). He is still a great sleeper. He has slowed down on formula in about the last 2-3 weeks... Still haven't found any baby food that he dislikes. He loves mashed potatoes and gravy now too :) lol.
He's so wiggly that it's now a challenge to change his diaper or his clothes. He LOVES the bath and sitting up in the bath to play. We're all soaked after his bath time b/c he splashes so big!
He changed to a big boy car seat last month. It sits him up higher and I think he likes that.
He still loves to be outside... everything goes straight to his mouth though (i.e. dirt, leaves, rocks, etc). Yikes!
When he gets super excited his whole body just stiffens and shakes at the same time. It's adorable.
He throws his toys across the room now (the boy has an arm already) and waits to see your reaction. He has a temper so he often does this when he is mad! Yikes-we might be in for it later on...
He kisses and waves a lot and the past couple days will give high 5 pretty much every time I say it.
We are so blessed to have our little man, Corbin Fisher. I can't imagine our lives with out him. We waited so long for him and now it's just going too fast! I can't believe in 4 short months he will be one...

Camping
My Grandparents that live in Martinsville have a permanent camper spot at Prides Creek and B has been BEGGING to go camping out there all summer. We had never gotten around to it so we figured this past weekend would be our last chance and we better take advantage of it.

B riding his bike :)
waiting to take a hay ride
Daisy and Brycen (a family friend and of course another girlfriend of B's, lol).
B on the hayride
Corbin on his first hayride :)

Corbin in his stroller- he just loves being outside so he was a very happy boy!

But he sure woke up happy (as always) on Saturday morning!
But he sure woke up happy (as always) on Saturday morning!Friday we went to the camper after we got off work and we unpacked and took B to play and ride his bike and then we roasted hot dogs and hung out. We went on the hayride and then came back and sat by the fire and made smores. YUM (my favorite part of camping)! We went to bed pretty early b/c we had to get up for B's soccer game on Saturday morning and Ryan had to get up to go work on getting the metal roof put on our house. We were going to camp Saturday night too, but then it rained a bunch and we decided not to. I always end up sick after camping and sure enough Sat. night my head was SO stuffy and I couldn't quit sneezy. BOO! I hate allergies, but it's worth it to make memories w/ my sweet little family!
