Well... since I haven't posted in over a week I guess I'm playing catch up... which is exactly what I feel that I'm doing in every other part of my life too! I hate that feeling of not being "caught up"... but I guess that is just part of it.
Last Tuesday I picked up Brycen from school and he had made this pilgrim attire!

Of course he couldn't be serious-- he held up his socks and said "dirty socks" :) What a goof ball!
My attempt at trying to get a good picture, but his smile was fake- it was real in the "dirty socks" picture! He is SUCH a boy!!
Tuesday we ran to the chiropractor and then to Wal-Mart. We were both very excited b/c it was our last day of our work/school week!
Wednesday we did stuff around the house and ran errands... Went to eat lunch w/ my momma at her work went and did some stuff for her at her house. They just got all new wood floors and painted and new trim and so she was stressing about the house a bit. B and I went over there and did some stuff so that when she came home she would be surprise :) I love doing stuff for people! That night we let B put up his John Deere tree in his room. He was so excited. I'm so sad I didn't think to take pictures, really b/c I was so tired from not sleeping that I layed on his bed and watched while him and Ryan did it.
Thursday morning we slept in and then got up and went to Ryan's parents for lunch. We came home and did our annual tradition of putting up the Christmas tree... the big one at least.

and this is the only picture I got...
The boys did most of the work while I sat on the floor and put hooks in the ornaments and "directed" them on what to do! lol. We got the tree up and I got a few decorations put out, but not a lot before it was time to go to my aunt and uncle's for Thanksgiving. I love going there and being w/ all my family! We are all so close and I really love it! Plus, I got to hold Kaydee Mae for most of the night! Corbin was kicking her :) I'm so sad that I forgot my camera and didn't have any pictures! My family is supposed to be emailing me b/c we did a bunch of different pictures... My cousin's wife Kayla, just had Kaydee, I'm pregnant, and my cousin Nick and his wife Cindy annouced that night that they are expecting on July 6th! Nick and Todd, my two cousins and I are all very close in age like that so that's soo neat we thought! Kaydee was such a good girl all night and slept most of the time I held up! She is soooo cute AND such a miracle! Her and Corbin will be close I am sure... Another neat thing is that they will be 4 months apart and that's exactly what Todd and I are too! I love Kayla (Todd's wife) and it was so fun to get to sit and chat for the evening. I ate way too much of course, but that's okay! My aunt Lisa even sent home her famous pumpkin pie w/ me! I don't even like pumpkin pie and I LOVE hers! We came home and pretty much went to bed b/c it was pretty late and Ryan had to work on Friday. Brycen and I slept in and I needed it. I don't think I had one good nights rest last week. We got up and finished putting up Christmas decorations and did laundry and cleaned and all that fun stuff. I got a lot done that day. When Ryan got home that evening we put up our other tree in "the red room". It's done in silver and red and I love it-- a red room is sooo neat to decorate for Christmas! I love it! After we got it put up we made an unplanned trip to Mi Pueblo to have supper w/ my parents and their neighbors. I wasn't feeling like cooking and I can never pass up Mi Pueblo! It was great as always! We came home and just relaxed after that.
Saturday we got up and lounged around for awhile before making a trip to Lowe's to get some stuff Home Depot didn't have when we went the week before. When we got home one of my closest friends from elem/middle/high school came over to pick up some tutus and we got to visit for awhile- that was so nice! Ryan worked outside on the stuff we picked up at Lowe's and I got our outside decorations put up... I don't do a lot... Just put the greenery and lights around the front deck/porch and put up my wreath and a big "country" looking snowman that has a lantern light on it that sits on the front deck/porch (whatever you want to call it). I am in need of a new winter doormat- mine is looking gross. I like to do just a "winter" one (like w/ snowmen or something) instead of just Christmas so I can leave it out all winter. That night we were just around the house... my back was killing me and I didn't get to sleep until around 4 am :( Needless to say, we didn't make it to church on Sunday. I slept in as long as I could, which wasn't early long enough to "catch up" on all the sleep I was missing.
We were just around the house again on Sunday hanging out... We went to my parents for supper and got to see my brother again since he was home for the weekend. We had loaded baked potato soup and these awesome sandwiches! YUM! I slept a little better that night...
Yesterday I was at work and then had a chiropractor appointment. I came home and needed to do laundry, but didn't. Brycen and I watched a Christmas movie "The Dog Who Saved Christmas" on ABC Family (i love that channel!). We just had frozen pizza for supper- not my brightest night as wife and momma, but I have promised everyone AND myself I would take it easier this time around... I'm trying! It just drives me crazy to sit around though... especially when there is stuff that needs done! Ryan finished trimming out kitchen/red room last night- finally! It looks really good! It took so long b/c he couldn't find the trim he wanted or something manly like that ;) He has to get the tile backsplash done and then I'm promising pictures of the kitchen update/red room stuff! He has to have it done by Dec. 11 b/c that's Brycen's birthday party so that's his deadline! lol (self imposed deadline I might add!).
Today I am leaving work at 1pm to head to Evansville. I have my pre-admission appt. and my glucose test and a dr appt. w / Dr. R... I have to pick up some Christmas presents that were ordered that are in. My mom and B are going w/ me so hopefully it won't be too bad of a day... yesterday I was 27 weeks- that means 11 weeks til D-Day! I will have an update w/ a belly picture and appt. stats tomorrow-- which I might add is my day off and I am looking forward to it! :) Those 5 days in a row off spoiled me!
Speaking of Christmas presents-- these babies are what I mentioned that Ryan was getting me when we went to Evansville last week:) lol It's not really my Christmas present, but I told him it could be!! I am so excited!

I'm not sure why one picture is smaller than the other?? It's supposed to be the washer and dryer... I am so pumped about them! They were on a major sale the week of Thanksgiving and my aunt is moving to GA for her job and happened to need a washer and dryer so she will be able to use my old ones... I never could justify getting new front loaders b/c my washer and dryer were still so nice... I have to say though- I'm def. pumped about these! We don't have them yet- waiting on them to be delivered, but it is worth the wait! Plus, now I can say I'm "green" w/ all the water and electric we'll be saving! haha! Although, that is a good perk!
Well, I'm not sure that I'm completely caught up, but I'm as caught up as I'm going to get b/c I can't remember anything else (GO FIGURE!)...
Oh yes, and obviously I found my camera... it was truly driving me crazy. My dear sweet little innocent boy had "stored it" for me under the recliner. nice! lol.

Hope everything goes good at the appointments today!
Nice washer and dryer! Lucky girl! Hope you have better luck with them though, the family I nannied for in florida had the front load fancy washer/dryer and in the 2 months that I was there we had the repair man out 3 times. Those things were the biggest pain! Just because of the crap I had to deal with those I dont think I will ever own one. I like my old fashioned top loader! Lol. Hopefully yours wont give you trouble though!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I would LOVE a front loader combo. Ouch, I can't help but be a littttle jealous. But how cool. I guess since your laundry room is looking so nice now? ha Ps. I havnet heard of anyone who has probs with their front loaders.
I think I could have typed this post myself! I also lounged while my boys put the tree/decorations up bc I was too tired! We also did a tree in red and silver only!! I'm loving it! And I indulged in quite a bit of pumpkin pie that Dusty's mom made. Yum! haha, I bet you can't wait for the new washer/dryer. How cool!!
I was wondering when you were going to post pics. of your kitchen and red room. Can't wait to see them!! I like the new washer and dryer...less water, less energy and they hold bigger loads. What else can you ask for?! I have been wanting a set for a while but just waiting to see how long our's hang in there.
Hope for nothing but good news at your appt.! Less than 3 months is just crazy...I know you can't wait!!
Sounds like you're keeping busy:) glad you guys had a great Thanksgiving!!
You asked where those railroad pics were taken: it's called the "viaducks" and it's somewhere in Grene county, i think!! I'll have to get back to you on that one:)
ohhh those washers and dryers will be so nice!!
