I had a really (or so I thought) cute idea for my boys to be a football player (B) and a football (C) for Halloween... well it was really cute until Brycen shot me down and said, "NO way!" . I don't know why he didn't want to b/c he loves football and football players... probably just to spite me and all... I think my mom would probably say I'm getting paid back :) haha!
Anyway, I decided I would just re-use B's first Halloween costume for Corbin instead of spending money on something he won't even remember... and I thought my little turtle was so cute when B dressed up in it... fit perfect too!
My friend/co-worker Whitney then told me she could make Brycen a ninja turtle costume! This made me excited, b/c he loves ninja turtles PLUS they would still kind of/sort of match... and well all know how I feel about them being matchy matchy ;)
Yesterday they had trick-or-treat and a bunch of other stuff at Prides Creek so I took my (ninja) turtles and went.

so cute!!Everyone loved B's costume and no one could tell what C was b/c his shell was up against the stroller lol, but I knew and thought they were both adorable :)
Brycen got too much candy (which Ryan and I helped him eat!) and had a lot of fun.
We hardly go anywhere (just my parents and a few family friends) on Halloween so this made the getting dressed up a little more worth it for him!

SO CUTE!!! I LOVE matchy matchy! I've had to bribe Annabelle into doing my idea, too...we'll see if she sticks with it ;) We've got to get it in before our little ones start having their own opinions! B's costume is so creative...love it!
SO cute. I too love the matchy matchy and believe I coined that phase. haha Ayla kept stressing that she wanted to be a cat? She saw an episode of Ellen (like Ellen Deg)and she dressed in a cat costume and scared ppl. She thought it was hilarious. So anyways, she hated the idea of Leah being a cat too. So I got Leah a cheap doggie costume. I doubt ppl will get what she is either! ha. Oh well. It would be too shocking if I didn't match them a little...
I love matching too! Brycen's costume turned out really cute! Great idea. Corbin always looks so happy in his pictures!
