Corbin is 15 months today. He's not a baby anymore, but he's not really a toddler either. Mr. Corbin has a VERY big attitude. He tests us A LOT. He screams at the top of his lungs... he doesn't really cry, but has a "whine cry" that he can turn off and on in an instant! Now, don't get me wrong- we love him very much and still have tons of fun with him, but you just never know how he's going to act! All I remember of B at this age was him being very loving! Corbin is such a rough neck! He can be so sweet one minute and throwing his toy across the room at you the next! I keep telling myself it's just a stage! What do you other momma's do to discipline a 15 month old for hitting, throwing toys, etc? He doesn't like to be told no, but it seems to be his favorite word to say!
We go on Wednesday for his check up on weight and height... He's thinned out a lot and is still tall. I'm anxious to see his stats.
He's saying quite a few words (when he wants to!) and I love hearing his little voice. The other night on the way home B was singing "Who Let the Dogs Out" and Corbin was saying "Rrrfff" it was sooo funny! Speaking of dogs- he LOVES them!!! He gets so excited he starts panting when he sees them! The neighbor dogs are at our house all the time and C stands at the window and bangs at them if we are inside!
I think one reason Corbin is so rough is due to playing with B so much. Those two crack me up! Yesterday they were rolling in the mud like pigs! Literally.
Corbin has one speed and it's "fast" all the time! He always has numerous bruises and bumps because he just doesn't slow down! He'll fall going full speed and get back up again running as if he didn't phase him!
He cracks us up with his quirky ways. Around some people he can be sooo serious and not smile one bit, but other people he is as outgoing as they come! He has a big cheesey smile where he squints his eyes- it's so funny! He tilts his head back and puts his arms out but the arms are always touching at the elbow part- it just looks hilarious!
He loves bathtime, but screams when it's time to get out (screams like you're hurting him!). He doesn't hold still to get lotion on or a diaper change or his clothes. He hates getting his shoes put on, but brings them to us all the time and wants to go "bye".
He is an outside boy! He's happy as long as he's outside! Once again- when you bring him inside he screams as if you're hurting him (like the shrillest scream that makes your ears ring).
He's going through a phase of only eating what he wants to eat and when he wants to eat... sometimes I think he has to be starving because he just won't eat! He def. only wants to feed himself and will hit away any spood on fork we try to put in his mouth causing yogurt, applesauce, ptoatoes, etc to go flying everywhere. What a mess! When he does decide to eat though he will eat more than me!
He loves my big round brush and stands in front of my long mirror and pretends to brush his hair :) If asked to bring something specific like a shoe, diaper, certain toy, drink, etc. He will bring them.
I'm sure there are lots of things I'm leaving out about our little man and I don't want to make him sound like a total bratty baby because he's not, BUT that just seems to be what he is doing to test us right now and what we're struggling with with him. We love him so much, screaming fits and all (although, if those go away soon I'd jump for joy!) :)

Sounds like there is a lot to love! Great memories Chelsa!
Thanks for the update on C! He is growing up so fast, but I don't have to tell you that. Theo loves to be outside too, and the people in our neighborhood probably hear him screaming when it is time to go in. When T was younger, he would pinch us, and we just gave time-outs. He still has tantrums, but we make sure he is safe and let him throw his fits rather than reward with showers of attention. I didn't think I would have to be "disciplining" so early, but my guy is strong-willed. Anyway, I am sure it is just a phase for Corbin and you are the best mom he could have, so just keep doing what you're doing. Take care, Chelsa.
Oh Chelsa, I know exactly how you feel! Once again I could pretty much copy and paste your list for Aedan!
Aedan could totally live outside and be completely happy and he is never one to not let us know EXACTLY how he feels! haha!!
