This is what my little worker man looked like. He said he was just going to "rest" for a few minutes b/c being a worker man is hard work! lol. Notice- cowboy boots are filthy AND on the wrong feet. He has on a tool belt AND four wheeler gloves... and worker man headphones are beside him :) This just makes me smile b/c it is sooo him and gosh I love him!
Sunday we went to church and had communion service. Then we went out and put new fall flowers on Andon's headstone. The old ones were faded... and I wanted to get some pretty fall flowers out there... I got some that had little pumpkins on them too :) Brycen knew just which one was Andon's... amazed me since we've only been there 2 times before... After that we went to Ryan's parents to visit his Grandma Knepp for awhile since she was leaving for Fla. that night. We ended up eating lunch there, even though that wasn't our plan. We were just around the house all evening. I actually read a book for awhile. I really love to read, but don't make time to do it as often as I'd like (a hardback Karen Kingsbury that I got at the bargain bookstore in Edinburgh for only 4.99!).
Yesterday was work and then after work Ryan and I got all the outside windows washed... I got spoiled at our first house b/c we had windows that pulled in. It's a lot more hard work when they don't! There are some I still can't reach even on the little ladder so Ryan helped me with those (yes I'm practically a midget, I know!). I was thankful for his help though it made things a lot easier for me! Jumping up and down on a ladder trying to reach the tops of windows probably is real smart for anyone, let alone a 22 wk pregnant woman! :) Not that I would know anything about jumping up and down on a ladder trying to reach EVER ;) hehe After getting all those done I felt really happy b/c it was something that really needed done... now I just have to get the insides done! The outsides were terrible though from them getting all the crops out of the fields by our house last week. EW it was dirty. We had spaghetti (my favorite) for supper and I started laundry, but didn't get it finished before bedtime. Ryan and B went to visit his friend Spaulding who is in town for a few days. I was thinking about it and I can't tell you the last time I had "alone time" to just hang out by myself and not have something that I was doing (like dr's appt or bible study). It was actually really relaxing! When the boys got home we got ready for bed and read a few books and then B and I crashed for the night.
B and I were really early this morning so I treated him to a donut from Jay C (YUM!)... plus I was craving one! haha. He is so excited b/c the Fire Truck is coming to his pre-school today! We have a busy rest of the week... tonight I have Bible Study and Ryan is going to help his friend Spaulding at the house he is remodeling, tomorrow is our normal day off, but we have a field trip to the pumpkin patch w/ his school and then Ryan is doing stuff around our house-- hopefully finishing up trim work, Thursday night we have B's pizza party and awards for soccer, and Friday B gets to come to momma's work w/ his school trick or treating and then I'd say we will go a few places that evening to let him trick or treat... I'm worn out already!
